Oklahoma State went on probation in the late '80s for a litany of violations that began in Jimmy Johnson's tenure and continued through Pat Jones that were very similar to what is described here. Hart Lee Dykes was a bought player and I suspect Thurman Thomas was as well. It never tainted Jimmy's reputation and Miles is probably safe as well. T Boone U. on the other hand is one of those programs that should always raise red flags when they start winning. They've never been much better than .500 while not cheating.

I'm fairly certain every major college program would be mediocre if they weren't cheating at some level.

There are A LOT of people coming out against this SI piece. Every fan base will attack a writer's credibility when their team is in focus, but MANY people not connected with OSU have expressed concern over the "journalism" as well.

Espn has even found evidence that nullifies some of the statements made in the article.
