Nobody's afraid of either Hillary Clinton or Cruz.

Rush has said many clever things, but the cleverest and truest is that liberals will tell you who they are afraid of pushing them back to the margin. And they will do it with mockery and rage and satire and anger. Yes, Cruz fills them with abject terror.

Cruz is the emblematic flavor of the month. I've seen this show before.

Agree. You should probably act on this thought. Nominate him for President. I haven't been filled with abject terror like this since Sarah Palin showed up on the national scene. On second thought, could you go back to nominating her?

I know it sucks, but Manti Te'o isn't eligible yet. That dude was mocked viciously. Definitely go for Manti Te'o as soon as he is eligible because he was mocked the most, which clearly would make him the best President ever.

So you would prefer not to be thrown into the nearby broad patch?

I would love Tebow in politics, but to be honest, at least a quarter of that is for pure schadenfreude as I watch liberal Gator fans twist in the wind, torn between sticking to issue politics and rejecting whatever false and malicious ad hominem campaign the DNC runs against him, or discrediting themselves as Gator fans by joining the chorus of vitriol against him, his intellect, his beliefs, his sincerity, etc.

Cruz doesn't just fill liberals with terror; as the nominee of the Republican Party in 2016, he would fill a majority of the electorate with terror in much the same way that Barry Goldwater did in 1964, and as a human being, Goldwater was head and shoulders above Cruz.

Let's also not forget one other point. Less than a year ago, the conservative media complex, Rush among them, had deluded themselves into believing that Mitt Romney would defeat Barack Obama. Apparently, they're still deluding themselves and their easily manipulated followers.

Cruz is a far right favorite that will have no broad apples to win a national election, but by all means, go for it!!

Cruz stands for something. Obama stands for hope and change. How has that worked out?
