I Disagree. The Miles coaching decision capability is just plain stupid. He makes so many fundamental mistakes. He's lucky, yes. Good, no.

Actually, going for it on 4th down in the manner that Les Miles does it is statistically proven to be the better move. He also calls fakes in a timely fashion, and in places that teams don't expect them. None of that is luck, IMO.

He's winning 81% of his games as the HC at LSU (in his 9th year), is that luck?

Miles is not lucky. He is good. But he can get in his own way on occasion.
    I like him...grass fetish notwithstanding.

I used to think he was lucky. Not so much anymore. He's a damn good coach. Period. Yes, he says a few strange things on camera. And yes, he may eat some grass. But he WINS..... Often. I think he's one of the best in the SEC.

Really? We're still calling Franklin a rising coach? What's his signature win? He's good, but I think he's risen as much as he's going to at Vandy.

Obviously. You can only go so far at Vandy. I think a big school goes after him soon. That's why I said rising. The guy can coach AND recruit. Only a matter of time, IMO.
