Landry leaves practice in a boot

    I don't know if I really believe Miles when he says that Landry should be ready to go by Saturday. Very rarely is a player seen leaving practice "on crutches" and "in a boot" on Monday, only to be seen lighting it up on the field five days later. I guess anything can happen, but that's not a good sign for LSU. BIG loss for the Tigers if he isn't 100% on Saturday.

    It is early in the week he wont need to practice until Wednesday or Thursday. It could just be a slight ankle injury UF has done this before with players

    Hard to tell, may not be anything, could be bad. We won't really know much probably till game time. If he responds well to therapy, he'll be ready to go, assuming it's not a major injury.

    A poster said he was seen during the game on crutches. Now, this is obviously mere speculation, but a boot and crutches usually indicates some degree of a sprained ankle. That would be a tough injury for a receiver to play through for four quarters. Even if it's merely a mild sprain, it still hinders a player's ability to cut, and it certainly gets worse as a game progresses.

    He may play. He may be just fine. But I'd be a bit concerned if Purifoy was seen on crutches at the end of Saturday's game.

    I think Les Miles may be doing what Urban Meyer did with Percy Harvin. Even though they are hurt probably too badly to play, force the other team to prepare as though they will be part of the offense.

    It won't change a thing with our prep because he is only one of several good receivers, so LSU will be running the same plan even if Landry couldn't play.

    Doesn't matter one bit. We always prepare for a team....not an individual player. He is one of many talented players at LSU!

    If he is even limited then yes this would definitely hurt LSU and put even more pressure on Odel Beckham....whom I hope we put Hargreaves on.

    The most important thing by far though is stopping Hill.

    Stopping Hill will lead to bad down/distance scenarios for LSU. With Mettenberger's limited mobility, it should lead to some big sacks.

    I thought you were going to say put him in a boot and say he's hurt instead of actually being suspended for drug use like urban did.
