    IMO Ollie isn't a good college coach. He can't even talk in english lol.
    If I was UConn I would be embarrassed about "we was".

    I'm not a huge fan of this either, especially out of a coach, but its a cultural thing it seems. Its how a good percentage of the players speak (even very bright ones sometimes) and I doubt they find it off-putting.

    Like it or not, good coach or not, he is representing an institution of higher education.
    Sorry, but he isn't a good representative of a higher education institution. If I were president, I would be really be encouraging him to speak proper english. It is embarrassing, I don't care how popular or "cultural" his manner of speech is.

    He is better suited for the one and done NBA world IMO.

    At a parent teacher night, my sister's home room teacher remarked to my parents (of my sister), "she be's my best student." This was 25 years ago. Just a sad commentary on how proper grammar isn't even used by those who are supposed to teach it.
