Georgia has played by Bama rules since Smart came in. That’s how they’ve bought...err..recruited as many great players as they have recently. Give it another year or two of inept NCAA oversight and Georgia will be Bama East.

Hope so, but I also hope they don’t get to another big game for 30 years.

They are all the same.. They depend way to much on their defenses to win ball games.

You would think McElwain being an offensive minded coach would have been more aggressive.

Yeah that’s pretty much what we thought. Boy we’re we wrong.

Doesn't UGly lose 28 SR's? Not counting any JR's jumping. I mean, how many times does this have to be said?

Yes they're recruiting lights out, but there's still no proof they're being developed when your roster was just so front loaded with upperclassman. No doubt they'll be dangerous do to said talent, but Smart got schooled by freshman, even though it was Saban, the blue print is laid out.

Georgia has always recruited lights out.. Kirby walked into a grand situation at Georgia and I don't care what Georgia fans tell you.. He took an offense that pretty much fit the scheme he was going to run and tweeked it. But he still gets conservative when it comes to the 4th qtr.

Will tried to take Urban Meyer recruits at UF and tried to turn them into the power run system Alabama ran... FAIL.

You put Muschamp at UGA and the style he likes to run.. I bet he would do as good as Kirby. (don't laugh)

Can't argue against your points. Especially about TOG changing the culture of the offense at UF. Giant mistake/fail.

You know that Richt also won an SEC championship in his 2nd year at UGA, right?

We haven't sniffed an NC in a decade. UGA has filled the vacuum in the east while UF and UT have been squandering much of the last decade (longer for UT). About time we stepped our game, otherwise uga will own the east. That being said it may take some time for Mullen to get us back to full strength after the last two coaches reduced us to the level of vandy (or worse).

Yes. But he didn't play for the NC that year.

We have got a way to go to catch Georgia. Kirby did well. Any comment to the contrary is simply biased. He fell a bit short. Would you rather be in his shoes or ours at this point?

I have confidence in Mullen. He knows what it takes to win. But that does not mean he has the tools yet. Georgia will be good next year. Will we beat them? Hope so.

If there was a playoff that year they would have played Miami in the semifinal round (and lost, but then who thought OSU would beat Miami?).
