kiffin will be fired this season for sure. USC will likely go after sarkisian at Washington or Petersen at Boise State.

Kiffin got hired because he could recruit and he had good people around him. Sounds like he earned it. UT needed talent at the time and they knew he would bring it in. Kiffin also got the USC job because he did a good job while he was there and was liked by the people making decisions. This is how people get jobs in America.

Most people get jobs in America from being qualified through a combination of education, training and experience, not by riding their dad's coat tails. I think it says a lot that of the three people who hired Kiffin as a head coach: Al Davis called him a flat out liar and Mike Garrett and Mike Hamilton are both long gone with their reputations in tatters.

Kiffin had the bold for the jobs he was hired to do besides the Raiders one.

Of unicorns, leprechauns, Bigfoot, Nessy, and Lane Kiffin's failing upward, I think Kiffin is the most inexplicable and the hardest to believe.

Guys on sports radio in Atlanta said that Kiffin had no press conference this week to talk about his starting QB or any subject. Instead, USC put out a release that press would be informed by a video or Youtube.

I wish he had stayed at Tennessee. It would have been great for the rivalry. We hated his guts from the start.

Yes, and it was fun watching UT fans try to defend him, kind of like Cat fans do now with Calipari

If USC is able to run the table (which seems highly unlikely) they'd be forced to keep him.

You think every failed NFL coach is deserving of a premier college job?

I think USC tries for the samething they got with Carroll. Del Rio and Fisher would fit that profile.

LOL, yes, the Mark Richt maneuver. UGA can't get rid of a coach who will never put it all together in one year.

They could probably have Del Rio this time though he turned them down in 2010. Jeff Fisher on the other hand makes $7 million per year and seems to prefer the pro game.

When you consider the number of 5 star players on that team, the mediocrity of last year and putrid performance this year is amazing! Washington State?

Well his daddy bailed last year, I believe. I think that was the only thing holding the boat together.

Kiffin deserves the absolute worst that can happen to him! He was a turd at UT and jumped at the chance for his "dream job". USC is now paying the price for their stupid decision to hire this idiot!
