Is anyone really surprised by this? Lol
I think Kiffin should re-assert his authority by benching Lee for the next two games. That will engender the kind of loyalty from the team, love from the fans, and respect from the media that he so badly needs right now.
Come on Lane, if you don't assert your dominance everyone will think you just got here riding your daddy's coattails. Show them you are a man. Bench Lee!
Really don't care how this one goes now.
LK is lying a cheating and money sucking coach - he will get it at any way possible.
Please God no.
Any word from his players if he plans to sing Rocky Top in two weeks?
I wonder which high profile school will hire him next.
Pat Haden has issued a vote of confidence, saying he understands Kiffin's ignorance about the Sunday players-only meeting. "With a wife like Lane has at home on Sunday, how would he know, and why would he care, what's going on down at the football facilities?"
I'm thinking his stellar performance at Southern Cal entitles him to another promotion, certainly above the college level. My guess is Offensive Coordinator for the Patriots.
I think we will take few years off since he has plenty of money but he can def get a OC job or position coach job since he can recruit.
He will probably be given the New England job next year
Kiffin earned all his jobs but the Raider one but who would turn down that job? Al Davis was crazy at that time though.
Tom Brady will be doing harmonica duets with Aaron Hernandez if that happens.
Kiffin was offered both the Tenn and USC jobs with the understanding that his dad was a package deal and he would be assembling an "all star recruiting staff" including Orgeron. There is no way that he would have been hired either place by standing on his own credentials. Now, you can say that any job offered has been earned as salesmanship is essential to getting the best job possible but take a close look at the fate of Mike Hamilton (former Tenn AD). He recently said that his problem at Tenn was being a poor judge of character. I doubt he was just talking about Bruce Pearl when he said that.
No, but even I'm surprised at how QUICKLY that clown can destroy one of the nation's elite programs. The question now is, can he keep his job through the rest of the season?
A 'Players Only' meeting at USC would mean only 2 or 3 Trojans would be eligible to attend.
As many suspensions we have had and people still want to make jokes at other schools.... LOL@THOSEPEOPLE
Even recruits are turning on him. Which has always been the ONE thing that he could do.
