Was told by a large booster that KB spent thanksgiving at WM house and was told he could have complete control to come as our new OC. Does this booster know more than us who knows. But this guy does put some serious change into the system. I am not a big fan of KB or anyone else but have been a Gator fan for 65 years and will support anybody selected as long as they are here dont matter who it is.

Keep in mind recruits do read these boards and some of these young people can be swayed one way or the other by remarks made by us . Lets all pull together and reach out to who ever is selected 100% and Go Gators . Yes I will be renewing my season tickets next year

Please if this guy knows no more than I do dont shoot the messenger just relaying what I was told by some one who I thank might be in the know

And I with Chip Kelly. He says his unborn son is primed and ready to take over OC duties at UF.

After the last three years of seeing our offense at the bottom, I don't care if they bring in Elmer Fudd if it will give us a top 20 offense. I don't think that is asking to much.

Who knows how many rumors will be flying around until a hire is made. Sad thing is, that could take some time.

The Saban/Thanksgiving joke has been floating around this forum for years.

I knew that was coming. Lol

Really this is all bs and rather embarrassing to throw this against the wall and seeing if it will stick. Concerned about Kerwins energy level coming off a HC position anyway. Dd your buddy comment on the quality of the turkey?

I read that a decision will come within 2 weeks. This is why I believe this decision has been in the works for 2-3 weeks.

Lots of credible reporters most notably Mark Long have already said Kerwin will not be the guy

I hope this is true. This offense needs a huge injection of life in it.

I'll believe we gamble that big on Kerwin when it happens. If it does, I hope he shocks the world.

Most of us have the experience in life to know that sometimes someone untested in the big leagues can look like a great hire. It's only once they are in the situation for a period of time you find out if your instincts and hopes were correct or miscalculations masked. We see this often as CEOs take over major corporations, etc. Kerwin may be golden or end up still having some learning curves. One thing about Applewhite is he would be hired for the same position he's trained in, and proven he can do reasonably well at a high level program. The same cannot be said of Muschamp, Pease, or Kerwin.

Honestly??? I don't care who comes in as the new OC as long as they have a decent imagination and believe in throwing the ball downfield! We have a ton of talent but it has been wasted on offense for 3 years! I'm totally tired of the "power run offense" and 5 yard dink passes! Please bring in an OC who can pile up yards and points!!!
