This might be a good game.
If we are where I think we are...we should win by 12 or more. I am excited for this game as I didn't get to see them play on Saturday. I like where we are...just need to keep getting better! I expect a big game from Andrew!
so where do you think you are, conference road games can fool you.
I hope UK blows them out. Honestly it is good for us, I want UF and Kentucky to be as highly ranked as possible for their matchups. Not to say if while i watch it and its a close game that I will pull for LSU; i won't be able to help it, its the gator bball in me.
I think we are on the way to being pretty damn good...oh no doubt we may get our ass beat, but I love this Kentucky team!
I absolutely love when UF is powerful, it makes for a better Kentucky. I mean let's face it Donovan's success led to the ouster of Tubby. Both schools bring out the best of one another on the hard wood. I just wish our conference foes would step up.
Couldn't agree with you anymore.
Road games in conference can bite. Last week at Bama and Auburn were gutty road wins, then beat Tenn at home by a plenty. The truth is somewhere in the middle. I too think Cats get it done tonite, just might not be easy
Chunks, Florida is on a different planet than Kentucky right now.....you are 10 pts better than us. We have some major growing to do to catch up...if we can!
On a neutral court maybe at your place anything goes. At our place yea prolly 8 to 10better
Meanwhile Ark hosts Mizzou in a pivotal SEC matchup. If Mizzou wants to make the tourney (I don't think Ark has any chance), this game would go a long way to supporting their cause. Currently 35-29 Mizzou with 3:00 left in the first.
Throw in Iowa 20-19 at home over Michigan St. Great night for college basketball.
Starting tonight would be nice
Sorry to get off-track on the SEC/UK thread, but IA beating MichSt 30-26 at the half. Not huge news as IA is ranked in the teens and MichSt has a couple players hurt, but noteworthy.
Need UK to lose atleast 1 game this week, either LSU or missouri. Having a 2 game cushion is huge. Unlike alot of people, an SEC regular season title still means alot and they are the only team that will compete with us. Don't care about a strong kentucky. Didn't hurt us during the championship years.
MSU is hard to gauge for sure
I totally agree. It would be akin to rooting for UGA to be good in football. I hope uk gets whipped every time they take the floor.
I just see things different I know. I like my team to be challenged every single time they play....I even like them getting their ass beat from time to time.
Agree. Not sure enough people give what Donovan did at Florida credit for the increase in expectations at UK within the admin.
I think tonight's game will be close. I've said for a while now (after the season started) that my hope for this team is for them to grow like the 2011 team did. That team lost 9 regular season games but finished strong. They lost close game after close game on the road before gelling when it counted. While I hope this team really gels eventually, I also fear it means losses on the road. The LSU and Mizzou games worry me. I bet we lose one of them. We opened as a 2 point fav against LSU tonight.
Mizzou up by 10 after an 11-0 run. 9:20 left in the second half.
I wonder who Borntobe will be for tonite lmao
