^^^Totally agree on both points.
KT is a special back. He will break a lot of records here if he is handled correctly.
Who said this, I never saw it.
Kelvin is not fast but he has a nice burst. He is not strong enough to break tackles. Right now not sure if we have an all around complete RB on the team. Jones is the best at the 2nd level but he needs to hit the whole harder and is coming off knee surgery. Mack Brwon is very average. Tayor already discussed. Lane really intrigues me he should be ready to go next year he has the speed and the strength to break tackles. Cook is special and we need to hold on to him
Really dont see him breaking records if we land Cook.
Really? Is that necessary?:jeez:
That shows quite a bit about you.
what that I understand the talent he will be going up against on his own team? Hard to break records when you are going to be sharing the football with other talented people
Kelvin Taylor named Athlon Sports SEC Freshman of the Week
Freshman of the Week: Kelvin Taylor, Florida
With a redshirt freshman (Skyler Mornhinweg) making his first career start at quarterback, Florida leaned heavily on its running game. And Taylor, a true freshman and the son of Gator legend Fred Taylor, delivered with career highs of 96 yards and two touchdowns to lead a Florida rushing attack that netted 200 yards on 41 attempts in a 19-14 loss at South Carolina. Taylor has 345 in his last five games. -
No. That you have to put a current Gator (who is the most electric on our team) down in favor of someone who isn't even here yet and who has been wavering on his commitment. Did you say the same about Matt Jones/Kelvin Taylor last year?
Not putting Taylor down at all. Cook is a very talented player if he comes he will get carries. Cook brings a dimension to the offense that we dont have a lot of. We use Showers to do some of those things but Cook can also run inside. We also have Lane and Jones. Hard to break records when you are splitting carries
I said Matt would get a big chunk of the carries and Kelvin would probably get the number two spot in front of Brown sometime in the middle or late part of the season.
You need to get a grip and stop bashing the players.
whee was the bashing player in what you quoted?
No offense by this - do you have a social disorder like Asperger's? Saying someone is so great he will break records is a compliment for a fantastic effort. It's not an invitation for criticism by a "fellow" fan.
Nope, he said Jones was the man and Kelvin played against inferior competition in HS.......Most of us could see what a true talent he was by his sophomore year in HS but some of us live by the word of a coach who likes to name starters for the next year before SPRING PRACTICE !!!!!!!
Guys, he's being sarcastic.
Dear God, please let this be sarcasm.
lol at that question grow up. Kelvin is a good football player and has worked hard to get on the field and show his talents that being said what records is he going to break?
You want to know what records he is going to break? You still don't get it. "You're gonna break records, kid," is an attaboy! Great job saying why he won't though. I'm sure he'd appreciate seeing that when he googles his name in a month and this thread pops up.
That same genius kept pointing to KT's 4th string status as proof!
