at what time do we start this kid? is it just me or is he beyond the best player on the offensive side of the ball and we give him 11 touches a game over the past 2 games.

I've lost 95% of faith in the offensive coaching staff. If Kelvin isn't named the starter and doesn't get the majority of the carries next Sat, the other 5% will lost as well.

I think Joker Phillips might be named the starter if things don't move in the right direction, if you know what I'm sayin'

b-b-b-but blocking, he can't protect, he might fumble one time. Can't have that, gotta keep the 3 yards a pop guy in there.

I don't care really who the starter is. But know this... Taylor MUST get more touches. How in all that is holy can the coaching staff watch this film and not think they should have kept giving him the ball is simply unthinkable. He should be getting 20 touches a game. Lord knows Champ only wants to run the damn thing so there should be enough touches for him to get 20. Kid is good. Need to ride that horse

He needs to prove himself as a blocker. After all, we need some competent guys to replace our offensive linemen and he is a prime candidate.

he needs 15-20 touches per game

whether it's carries, screens, receptions, etc.

get your best playmakers the ball

a good running back can make an average line and average coaching staff look great

Agree completely. What do we have to lose at this point? A missed blitz or two? He needs the ball 25 times a game.

He did have more carries against Mizzou than brown but they stopped running him because they panicked and went to throwing the ball I think from here on out kelvin will get the majority of carries

I can't imagine he doesn't get the majority of the carries against UGA after the Mizzou game.

For the pass blocking crowd don't you think it would be easier to teach a gifted runner to block than the reverse. Also, what is the RB's primary purpose?
