    Lets face it
Will is here to stay.... (at least a year)
    Pease is probably gone
    Oline coach is prob gone
Rb coach gets one more year
    And joker obviously stays....

But damn I like seeing CL on that sideline he did so much for us during a dark time.... we need to keep him!!! GREAT GATOR

    That's all......

What exactly does he do? Is he good at it? If so, we should keep him. If not, let him go.

If we change offensive coaches, which I doubt, the new guy should be allowed to choose the offensive guys.

Pretty narrow logic you have... lets apply that to WM....... ok nevermind. ....

CL has been coaching the qb's, I think he was brought on board around the Tenn. Game (I'm goin off top of head so may be wrong on timing)... but he's a gator great and deserves to stay

I'd sure hate to see Chris, Tim, or any other Gator patrolling enemy sidelines.

Is he on grad assist time?? Good!!

He is a tremendous asset to the program and who knows he may turn out to be a great coach in 10-20 years. Ya never know.
(Sidenote: CL always had the prettiest spiral and precision on his passes that I can remember)

Actually, the fans were booing the removal of Tim Tebow from the game. Tebow had just made two long, exciting runs to get the ball inside the Wildcat 10 yard line, and the fans wanted to see him stay in the game to run it into the end zone. I was there and know exactly what happened.

As far as your point about a large number of Gator fans lacking knowledge and being ungrateful, I agree completely. Just not in the example you mentioned.

Jeff, I was there as well but can't speak to the motivation since everyone has their own reasons. I suspect we have common ground in that we both think there's never an acceptable reason to boo your own team.

I absolutely agree with you about that. I think they were booing Meyer's decision to take Tebow out. After the long Tebow run that broke several tackles an got inside the 10 yard line, our whole section was standing and high-fiving. Twenty seconds later, off the field he trots and fans felt let down that couldn't see him finish the drive.

But I know your underlying point and you're absolutely correct. I get nauseated reading the stupidity on this board from people that know absolutely nothing about football slamming players and coaches. It is never acceptable to boo your team under any circumstance.

This is true about the specific instance, but there were plenty of fans calling for Tebow over Leak in the middle of the 06 season. People seem to forget the O was not killing it and lots of people were bitching up a storm, plenty were calling for Leak to ride the pine.

I may be wrong and it is not an approval of his results but I don't think Muskrat cans Pease after this season.

Can we sneak Leak into uniform? Seriously 2006 was a long time ago, none of the opposing players would know who he is. Just give him a walk on's jersey, Verne Lundquist wouldn't know the difference.

I think criticism of the coaches is fine, esp. when merited. Calling the HBC of the team we love a sophomoric name? C'mon man!

As for Leak, I love seeing him on the sideline with a headset on and encouraging the players to get to the sideline when there's potential for a skirmish. That said, he's not the QB coach and unless someone here has some inside info, we really don't know how good he is as a GA. We just know that we love the guy.
