Here is what I think is a key excerpt from the most recent article I could find on Winslow

Err, don't worry with it. Winslow liked his time with Alford and loved his time with Donovan, but he is torn between Duke and Arizona, with Arizona leading.

    Gary:

Out of curiosity. If you don't mind answering my question, is your source a coach, the Internet, people close to the kid, or something else?

My source is the head of PGU. He goes by ACE. He is best friends with Arizona's assistant coach Book Richardson. He has never ever been wrong. This is primarily bc he gets all his info straight from the horses mouth.

I tried to go over there and tell him what a great site he has and get a free membership, but it didn't work. Sometimes if you go over there and tell him that he is the greatest in the world he'll throw you a bone. Guy is very egotistical, but has the right to be. If he says it, that's what will happen.

So being that I am not a PGU insider I rely on my buddy who is a die hard Arizona fan to tell me what is happening.

Yeah, I am not ever sure Zona has had a particularly good PG, but they think they are PGU.

I don't even understand how they think they are a basketball school, but I guess they are not good at anything else. Well softball, maybe that site should be DPU?

Arenas, Bibby, Terry, Bayless, and Stoudemire. They have dropped quite a bit since Lute Olsen left but they were every bit a basketball power while he was head coach.

Right, as I suggested not the kind of PG list that would lead to anyone calling themselves PGU.

The reason I started this thread is Winslow is the last guy on UF's board at least for now and I thought we should have a thread on the last guy on the board. I think Winslow would be an interesting addition to UF's class, even if UF is not favored.

I'm glad you started the thread Instigator. I shouldn't have said don't worry with it, there is always a chance.

No, no, we want realism on this thread too. We want a thread in my view, but we also do not need to think UF is the leader or anything.

Just as in other sports, you follow the guys your staff is recruiting. Some of them you know you have a better chance than others to get. This class is interesting:

    1. Chiozza came on our radar about the time he committed so we had no real expectations.

    2. Francis was followed closely because we thought it appeared UF had a decent chance in a UF v. UL battle. Ultimately UF won out.

    3. Robinson was on the radar but felt to be an IU lock by many. So UF fans followed him but not that closely. In the end, he saw that UF was best for him.

So there are all types of recruitments. I will follow those UF is recruiting and hope to get most of them, but I will be realistic. So that is a long way of again saying you certainly should have posted your thoughts on Winslow's recruitment.
