Eh, whatevs. The kids dig the effort. If he comes: wow! Great pub. If he doesn't come: no one will notice.

In the meantime, our students are on national TV organizing for what they want. It probably looks like a really fun environment to be a part of for students and student athletes alike; advertising.

Really have no idea why this bothers anyone.

I'm not sure I am bothered by it, but more so baffled. It seems like such an odd random effort.

I agree. He's a natural performer like a modern Sammy Davis Jr or Danny Kaye or something.

But, I'm glad someone asked the question. I was also wondering where this "cause" came from, and I agree it's kind of distracting from the game. But, no big deal either way. Let the students (the ones who are into this anyway) have their fun.

He should sing "*ick in a box" at halftime instead of the anthem. Less kids in the house for UK.

    LOL!
JT did have a cameo in what I think is one of the funniest songs/videos by Lonely Island.
I am not sure if this is appropriate to post. . . so mods, feel free to pull it. But do yourself a favor and watch it first. LOL!!!!

Seems pretty cool I hope they succeed. Who wouldn't want to come to the UF /UK game. Im pretty sure those two combine as the top pair of college basketball teams in the last 10 years. Or very very close...

The Rowdies are a strange and wondrous lot. There is an absolute ton of weirdness going on up there. The JT thing is just one aspect. In total, it's hilarious. They're very smart, very responsible kids having a very good time; more power to 'em. Now, about that horse head guy......

I find horse head hysterical. Also, the kid that tore open his tux when taunting the Missu bench almost had me in tears. The Missu guy behind me said:"wtf, that is so randomly distracting." Bingo!

From what I can tell, the Rowdies are very good at random.

Could be worse than JT singing for sure... they could be asking Beiber to do the Canadian anthem.

Tell the custodial staff to hide the mop buckets.

Perhaps random acts and inexplicable demonstrations can become the new hallmark of the UF basketball crowd. Game Day could come to Gainesville promising a national TV audience something absolutely unexpected.

The Rowdies seem to be turning into the 4chan of college basketball student sections.

No disrespect intended but at one time we had Mrs. Sloan doing the Anthem. She wasn't bad but she wasn't known like JT.

Wearing the tux was a homage to suit and tie. Tearing it open, random.
