The Gators' curfew was 10:30 so I had to let my little bro get some rest. There was a good vibe tonight. The guys are ready for business tomorrow. They seemed loose which is a good thing.

Strange thing was all of the "Roll Tides" we heard in the lobby area. We even had an older couple walk up to us saying "Roll Tide". Keep in mind we obviously were Gators considering we were in all orange & blue. Needless to say, they had a few beverages tonight...LOL GO GATORS!!

I was March Air Base on Thursday and saw an older gentleman in a wheel chair with an Alabama robe over his knees; he was on O2 and clearly not quite with us. However, he was attended by a young boy in a Tide jacket and hat, and an older woman.

Leaned over an asked them if it would bother them if I offered a "Go Gators". Thought I might get a reaction from the old gentleman, but did not. The lady and the boy responded, and we had a little chat about being a long way from our roots out here in SoCal.

Whenever I see SEC colors a long way from home, I always make a point to gently pull their chain by offering up a Gator comment. Get to visit with some nice people that way. I don't bother with FSU folks; no need to stir up unpleasantness.

I believe auburn is going to give them a game..gut feeling I suppose....would love to keep the natty in conference though....Alabama and Oregon could beat fsu however, I don't believe Ohio vo-tech can beat them.

Anybody but Bama. I'm seriously sick and tired of them. Now I know what it feels like to be our rivals during the tebow era.

Bama doesn't bother me in the least. Many of the folks I have seen in SEC colors around the country are Bama fans. They are always pleasant; willing to trade a little trash without getting belligerent.

They are on top, and they stay there by wading through the best conference in the country, winning the SECCG and then taking on whoever shows up at the BCS. Good for them. But, once the Gators displace them, I am sure there will be fans around the country who are sick of the Gators.

They looked loose on the sidelines at Mizzou. Wish they seemed more focused, serious, then would think they were ready for business.
But who knows these days, maybe their coach was at his alums parties tonight.

Sad to say....on an equal playing field, or in a playoff, FSU wins the title this year. They are the best team IMO.

Meh, I don't know if I watch Meyer win a championship so soon after departing from coaching. I hear ya, though. That's a good point.

Agree 100%. My Pastor is a Bama fan, but not too bad. I would root for the Taliban over pO$U and f$u.

most bama fans I know---arrogant, but not obnoxious---there is a difference. They expect to win---it is their "right." They do not accept losing.

You guys need to move up to the Florida panhandle, Bama fans here are arrogant AND obnoxious. Of course, the FSU fans are just as bad. About the only fans here that are somewhat civil are the Auburn fans.

That is because the war eagles are a little light in their loafers.
