"I just wasn't ready to put that whole team on my back."

Is it definitely Miami now (he's fresh off a visit there) or are we still in this?

I think FSU will be his early leader. I'm hopeful that we can end up with one of Scarlett, D. Williams, or J. Patrick.

We are definitely still in it for Scarlett. We have quincy wilson on our team and no RBs committed yet. I'm sure quincy was in his ear all year as his teammate.

He's getting a lot of "Crystal Ball" predictions to UM on 247 today. I would love to end up with Dexter Williams when all is said and done.

So now that Scarlett is officially committed to UM, what do you think our chances are of getting Dexter like you're saying, and possibly Ray-Ray as well?

I saw today where Dexter said he plans on visiting Florida again, but that he's still "solid" to UM. Also, I saw where Ray-Ray has possibly set a decision date for July 28th, and apparently Sheriron Jones has been recruiting him at The Opening.

I would like to think that Dexter doesn't like the fact that Miami now has three 4* RBs committed. He did send a congratulatory text to Scarlett after the commitment, so who really knows. We led for him early, and his UM commit came out of nowhere. Hopefully his visit goes well and we make up some ground. I actually like our chances with Dexter better than Ray Ray right now based on the whole Cain to Clemson thing. It would be lovely to get both, but we need to get one of the two. We just can't afford to keep losing out on talented, in-state play makers IMO.

Yeah I'm right there with you. I think Dexter might start looking for other options where he can get more playing time.

I also get the feeling that Ray-Ray likes Clemson more and more since Cain committed. I have no facts to back that up, it's just the feeling I get.

I think if Dexter does re-open his recruitment, then we would have to be considered the favorite. Getting a visit certainly doesn't hurt.

With regard to McCloud, I get the same kind of vibe. I think we may still pull it out based on being close to home...if that sort of thing matters to Ray-Ray and his family.

What leads you to this conclusion? I'm just wondering because there were quite a few McCloud to UF predictions added to 247 yesterday as well.

Yeah I saw that on 247 as well. I wonder if he said/hinted at something yesterday at the Opening and it got around to a few insiders? I hope he does come here though, he'd help out a lot.

It's either that, or Bahamian Cane is a better source than we give him credit for.
