I heard he was stealing crab legs and shooting out windows with a bb gun and some coaches at FSU thought this violated the rules. So they turned us in.

Seriously, we are UF...how can we not get a legit wr coach as a replacement under Roper? I love Leak for what he did for us but we aren't a little time program needing to break in a former qb turned wr coach.

While logic would say that, there are a lot of really successful coaches that have coached multiple positions, including offense, defense and special teams. I would tend to agree that it would be hard for anyone other than a former QB to be a very effective QB coach.

We aren't a little time program?
Our recent coaching hires suggest otherwise.
Someone (AD) certainly thinks we are little time.

I really dont know what you are talking about was there some weird rumor about why I wasnt posting for awhile? I wasnt banned or anything if that is what you think. Every thread was just people arguing about something that had already been decided. Why participate in that? I just sat back watched the bball team and enjoyed recruiting season

I don't think ANYONE ever thought you were banned. At least I certainly didn't. I think most of us had a pretty good idea of why you left and some of your actions after you left. You'll either change or you'll repeat the same cycle. It's really not worth discussing any further.

What were my actions after I left? I haven't change dont see why I would need to. What is this cycle you speak of? You are probably right there is no reason to discuss this I think you just made something up in your head. That is not some sort of shot at you so please dont take it that way. If the board turns into people not talking football I would probably fall back again.

I think everybody is missing the point. ESPN says recruiting violations. He didn't resign because of some minor violation. NCAA is doing anything about NC so we should be fine.

If there is truly a recruiting violation (and we don't know for sure), chances are Joker leaving is a way for UF to distance itself from his actions and keep from getting in trouble, kind of like self reporting. Probably a major enough violation that if we did nothing we'd get in trouble but by taking immediate action, we'll stay out of trouble.
