And I disagree to some extent.
There is also a difference in Muschamp is twice his age.
That and I don't think Muschamp is all that classy when he is cussing up a storm against some ref.

I always look to coaches' behavior toward refs when assessing their relative degree of class.

There's this line (pun intended) in "What I got" where Nowell says, "Got to find a reason, a reason things went wrong. Got to find a reason why my money's all gone." Now I don't exactly know what the hell that really means, but I've got this feeling that Johnny Blaze is gonna be out of the league four years from now, trying to figure out the same thing one morning when he wakes up and looks at a 5'11, 158 lb. man in the mirror.

But I hope I'm wrong about the guy.

I honestly don't think that single act means Manziel has no class, it's just that plus everything else he's done. What that act shows is that he's an immature kid who can't handle being taunted.

And yes Muschamp cussing up a storm may not be classy, but it's not like he's the only coach who yells at refs for calls they disagree with. I mean every single coach out there yells at refs. Even Billy D gets on refs and has been T'd up for it, but he is by far one of the best/classiest coaches I've ever seen. How many NFL players, or even just rookies, have you seen flip off an opposing bench on national TV, not to mention MNF.

What Manziel really needed to do was complete some of those passes to wide open receivers. That shuts everyone up.

He has already shown us that he was in the past an immature kid. What he did here was show us that he is still an immature kid.

The NFL embraces M and rejects Tebow. Makes a lot of sense.

Well many of his innate talents are not really appropriate for an NFL QB. Reading defenses, making correct decisions quickly in a complex offense, being a good leader are essential. I see him deficient in all these areas with little improvement in the near term.

I heard someone call him Johnny Clipboard on Mike & Mike this morning. Has a nice ring to it.

The NFL loved Tebow his first season +. No need for revisionist history.

Sure, he was playing against lesser talent, but he was also playing with lesser talent on his side of the ball. He wasn't playing with the Browns first team offense.

    Hoyer QBR 47,5.
    Manziel QBR 76.3.

Presumably they were playing with better receivers.

    Shaw QBR 155.

    Every play by Shaw:

Honestly, after what I saw tonight I think it would be better for Connor to get cut. Maybe he could make a team that might be relevant in the next decade. At least he wouldn't have to live in Cleveland.

Since Sam sacked him twice, he could be called Johnny Bottom.

Was there a 15 yard penalty against his team? Pissing off 85 guys on his roster would have more ramifications than a $12K fine to this jerk. Especially for a QB.

Would love to see Shaw and Rex relegate Manzel to the clipboard holder.

This...You can thank ESPN and overly obsessed fans for Tebow's rejection.

As for Johnny boy, he hasn't impressed me on the nfl level. He may become another "great in college but not the nfl" QB...

I doubt Cleveland keeps 4 QB's so either Shaw or Rex will be the odd man out when the final cuts come out.
They are not cutting either Hoyer or Manziel.
