Nice to see no matter who is in the White House.

Didn't Yellen just lower our economic outlook from 2.8 to 2.1? I wonder how her opinion relates to jobs and factory orders.

Sorry, but anything coming out of the regime or even independent offices where the regime may have made political appointments, is just suspect these days. Gator Football "sunshine pumpers" have nothing on those who try to promote good news where there is little from this administration.

Lets see "acceptable" GDP growth for 4 quarters and then I will pay attention. (pitiful I'm using acceptable rather than good)

I certainly see signs of a growing economy where I live- lots of commercial construction and lots of new homes

Good news, at least until we get revised down numbers next quarter. I hope it's true and the numbers get revised up instead.

States like Florida, Arizona, Texas and others benefit from those seeking to retire to warmer climates or move to better situations. There are many areas of the US, that are losing those folks. So I'm not so sure economically if it is not an offset. Until we see strong household creation, income growth and "full time job" creation in something other than service industries, we will not see real economic growth. The US must lead the world out of it's funk. Anyone truly believe Obama is the leader to do this?

Enjoy it while you can... The impending oil 'crisis' and related increase in oil prices due to the unrest in Iraq is sure to wipe out any and all gains we may, or may not be enjoying...

It's hard to tell anymore, really. We have so lowered the bar on what is good economic news, and what is not, that it is nearly impossible to determine good economic news from the not-so-good news...

Correct though we should not be surprised. We've lowered the bar on who we elect as POTUS. Would we be a country today if our first POTUS had been Barak Hussein Obama?

    Number of people working (%)
    Number of people dropping out
    Price of Food
    Price of Fuel
    Price of Healthcare
    Grads Finding Jobs

Yeah, I can see it. In my dreams. If it were better do you think the polls would be this bad?

So you think all of this is just "party line" stuff? It's totally impossible that any of what is in the article is actually true? Do I see "party line" thinking here? Of course I do.

Yeah, the cons are always trying to downplay it. It's not great, but it's certainly not as bad as a lot of these guys want everyone to think it is. That's just entirely political on their part.
