I feel sorry for anyone who would pay to see JL play football. This whole article screams "grow up!!" to the moron jocks who literally have no value or function in society other than embarrassing themselves by still playing football against other equallt embarrassing jocks. Hey, big man on campus, time to movie on. I hear Bloackbuster is hiring.

As far as the folks in the stands .... get a life. Please. You paid to watch that? Sad.

Imagine sending a corner blitz on him.
How do you figure? You watch a 2 to 3 hour show and get to feed the mammals. It's cheaper than Sea World.

I mean, come on. Come on, man. I mean seriously? It is time to do something else with one's time.

Go hiking. Hit on a married woman. Jay-walk. Watch reruns of Monk. Write a screenplay. Read a book. Volunteer at a soup kitchen. Sky dive without a parachute.

    Come on.

    Anything.

I feel sorry for people that pay to see that. Just MHO.

That video was funny as hell. I'd go if someone handed me tix; maybe even pay about $10, if I was jonsin' for FB--and a good chuckle. :)

What JL i s doing isn't football. Don't pervert the game into a sad parady and call it football. Then again, it is a game. Hey, if that is what soem people call entertainment, go for it. As for me, no way. Like I said it is tiem to seriously evaluate where you are in life if you play "football" for 18K per year or you to watch clowns who make $18K a year. That is just sad. I'd rather go to a freaking library. Some librarians are hot in a repressed kind of way.

James Bates was once asked which quarterback he'd prefer to have, Tim Tebow or Danny Wuerffel. Bates answered, if it's a backyard game, I'm taking Tebow because he's 6-3 240 and can't be brought down. IMO, Lorenzen fits the same mold for this league he's in.

I don't get the sympathy for minor league sports attendees. These events are usually fun, family-centric, and cheap. What's not to like?

Let's not lose perspective here. Lorenzo played for 2 years in the NFL; min. NFL salary has him at damn near a millionaire already, and ZERO college debt, since he was a scholly athlete. So it's not like this guy is living on 18 k/year; that's just fun money.

Lard ass though he may be, he is getting PAID to PLAY football; and, without knowing much else about him, it would appear that he doesn't have a great deal in terms of obligations to meet.

As for minor league sports--I can only assume that you don't have kids--at least not little ones. Taking lil'ones to the real deal is a colossal waste of money. You're in the bathroom, in line at the concessions (paying $19 for a f'n hamburger...), cleaning shit up, chasing kids all over the place, and you don't get to enjoy the game at all. Taking them to minor league events (especially baseball, but I'd do FB) is economical, family friendly, laid back, and a pretty good time. (Nothing wrong with the library either, but the 2 aren't mutually exclusive).

    Just say'n.

^^^just to reconcile my post above, with my prior post (would go if handed tix, or $10...)--I've never gone to Arena FB (or this other in door FB they have around here), because by teh time FB season is over, I'm good with FB. Ready for baseball, hockey, and basketball, and a break from fb. Wasn't knocking minor league FB.

I do have kids and I do support high school and youth sports events. I'd rather not support over grown adolescents. I know I am judging others, maybe I haven't walked a mile in their cleats, fair enough, but as I said, and I will repeat, it is time to grow up if you are JL. Grow up. Get a real man's job. Please. It is pathetic hanging on to football at this level. I agree with your comments about kids and minor league sports. I get that 100%. I am sticking to my guns here though …. I flat out feel sorry for any L head (loser) who would pay to see what JL does. I feel sorry for the clowns out there playing. I don't have middle of the road feelings on this, not sure why, it is in Kentucky, right? I suppose KY isn't exactly South Beach so I suppose they need entertainment but I can't get past how some people NEVER grow up. They just want to play games forever. That pisses me off kind of.

he sells insurance by the day, and then plays football for fun still...

What is the harm in that? Is that any different than the 1000s of men who play beer league softball each year?

My God dude, get a life.
