Think it starts the 12th. Haven’t seen much for January visits set up yet. However, saw we will get the final visit from Jacob Copeland, Dorian Gerald, CB Mario Goodrich and DL Jamarcus Chatman (former Vol commit) on February 2nd.
Funny Sensei . . . but not informative. He who waits behind the wall is doomed to be a Semi or Whipped Puppy. Gators know the wisdom of all things . . .
. . . including who will enter the Eiheiji (aka Spurrier Field).
I did see where Christian Meadows may not visit now
Coynis miller is visiting feb 2 too
What does that do with the tea leaves? Is CM liking SOW again or do we have a good feeling about NPF and Barnes together? I thought CM might be our back up if needed.
Meadows never stopped liking fsu. Something happened that turned him off a little bit. If he doesn't visit UF Taggart (or his primary recruiter) really did a good job of reeling him back in. CM has visited UF on his own dime several times. He also has some family there as well. He has a good relationship with Hevesy for 3+ years and if he truly decides not to take an OV to uf that blows because at one point he was very interested in the idea of playing at UF.
Nic Petit Frere has been watching The university of Michigan practice for their bowl game at his school. No one truly knows what this kid is thinking but hes really considering bama, Ohio State and Michigan along with UF are his top schools.
If we miss on the first 2 I damn sure hope we can signs Barnes. He's very good. According to 247 hrs been predicted to choose UF over UNC 80%/20% but now I hear Auburn is turning up the heat.
Copeland will visit again...gator.
Xavier Peters is visiting UF this month. The longer he stays uncommitted, the better for us.
Isn't he committed to Kentucky?
Yeah. I meant the longer he draws this out the better for UF. I think he signs w us on signing day. Kentucky signed it's entire class during early period except XP.
I hope you realize Matherly that oommm is a mantra for a very few. In fact, everyone has their own mantra or magic wand, which differs by the Chakras they stimulate most and how well they link each to the extended mind.
Excellent point regarding how things are in some flux still, and likely won't be even largely out of flux until the final assistants are hired. Coach Mullen made it pretty clear that he's keeping his eyes, ears, texts and options open right now.
Peters may not qualify. Will not know until end of HS year
Looks like we strategically planned for the last visit before dead period and NSD Some kids will be pressured to commit elsewhere before that date and some will not show, but good strategy to get lot of top kids together at one time, especially with Emory, Clement, Pierce, ... already enrolled
Thanks NG. Agreed Barnes is must in this scenario. Hopefully Gouraige sticks as well. I haven't seen Barnes or NPF in person but I prefer Barnes if I had to choose only one coming from Apopka and keeping the pipeline open. Thanks for the CM update.
Regarding meadows; it's strange to me that he's no longer planning on visiting Auburn and UF. He's now planning on visiting Louisville and ucf. Lol I'm not certain if grades are an issue with him but his decisions have been all over the place.
Also, it's baffling to me that the Under Armour game has chosen a kid who's NEVER played football before to play in this game. They chose him solely on his rugby highlights. (Tyrese Johnson Fisher-lake Buena Vista)
4*WR Justyn Ross will be taking an official visit to Florida. (1/12/18)
4*LB Xavier Peters (Kentucky commit) will be taking an official visit to Florida. (1/19/18)
Also, looks like Trey Dean is working hard on a flip and is getting Quay Walker on campus on the 1/12.
Florida defensive back signee Trey Dean thinks the Gators have a chance to flip Alabama linebacker commit Quay Walker. They’ve been friends since 10th grade and Dean revealed that Walker will visit UF next month. “Keep this on the low, but we’re going to get Quay Walker. Quay was going to Alabama because I was going to Alabama. Now I’m not going to Alabama, so he’s [iffy]. I’m an early enrollee, so he’s going to visit on [Jan. 12] and I’ll be there to show him around.”
So much for on the low
