If the Jags did want Tebow...how much would it cost them? Would they have to pay another team to acquire him?

Could they recoup the money simply in Jersey sales even if he didn't play a down?

Both are serious questions. I'd like to know.

Jersey sales are split amongst all 32 teams evenly, unless they are purchased directly from the team store. So that benefit would be negligible. But otherwise Tebow is a free agent and could be signed for the veteran minimum with no recourse.

Hell no. I don't want him. Give me a real leader.... Give me Teddy.

This is wrong...SECund2nun would have season tickets and make them really profitable if they'd sign Tebow. But since they haven't and won't they're Enron with a football team. Such a darn failure.

That's exactly who I want. A QB makes all the difference in this league. You wanna sell tickets? He's our guy.

    We're no. 20! We're no. 20!

Too bad football and drinking is not like music and drinking. The more you drink, the better the band sounds. If the band sounds bad, it's your fault. You didn't drink enough. I've been testing this phenomenon at football games for decades and the results are inconclusive. :geek:

Perhaps that comment was as much or more about the extent to which Johnny Foosball is not a model leader.

Jax was 20th in attendance Last year. Only 1 home game so far but they rank 30th this year by average. That team is tuuurible. And if you think Henne or Gabbert is a better Throwing QB than Tebow, then you need to check out the actual stats.

I just don't see the downside. Neither current qb is a franchise guy. Do what Elway did. Bring in tebow. If he wins, great. If he loses, then you draft your franchise QB and you shut up all the people clamoring for Tebow these last few years.

I don't think Elway brought in Tebow---he was there when Elway took the job and Elway tried to get rid of him as soon as possible.

Shut them up? Good luck, they'll hate the franchise even more...blaming everyone around him for his shortcomings and accusing them of sabotage.
