I think they may be getting things ready for a move to the west coast.

only 2 free beers? that's not nearly enough to watch that team. they need to throw in a few more beers and some jack daniels to dull the pain.

Yep, before they were losing on purpose so nobody would come to the games. You know so they could pull a Rachel Phelps and move.
Now they're the first team in NFL history to ever have a promotion to boost attendance. No doubt they're trying to move.

They can't move unless the owner pays a huge amount of incentive reimbursement...and the owner didn't get to be a billionaire by throwing money down a rat hole...besides LA didn't support the rams or the raiders, so that market isn't a panacaea for an ailing football team either. All they have to do is put a good product out there and the fans will come out of the woodwork.

Is that why the new owner is overseeing $70 million in stadium improvements? Including the TWO largest video scoreboards in the world and swimming pools?

No. He's planning on staying and he's pulling out the stops to pack the place.

Again...they outdrew the Steelers, Bears and 12 teams last season....including my Dolphins.

Yeah, which makes the attendance even more impressive.

But they won't get to suck on the west coast which was the point you were trying to make.

Exactly. My family has had season tix since day one. When they are good...that place is pretty loud.

Hopefully the same will happen for Miami now that they are good again. (Over 70,000 last week  )

Not trying to make a point, other than I hate the Jags, especially after their GM dissed TT publicly, the way he did, with his snarky attitude at his press conference. SO he started it as far as I'm concerned. Nothing personal with you Tilly, just the Jags.

First of all, a couple of years ago, I believed the Jags were going to move. Now I don't think they're going anywhere. They have what I believe is a really good and really smart owner!

He's enhancing the gameday experience and it is a smart strategy not to lower ticket prices but to give incentives of really high margin concessions like beer. They're probably giving up about $1 in raw cost per ticket sold and giving a value of what, maybe $12 to the consumer? That's pretty smart business..

So you want the residents of Jacksonville to lose their only pro team because the GM didn't want Tim Tebow? Of course something making him no different than the other 31GMs of the NFL.

Until the Jags sign Tebow their attendance will remain terrible. Blaine Gabbert is one of the worst QBs in the NFL. Tebow has had 100 times more success in the NFL than Gabbert ever will have. Blaine is just awful. He wasn't even good in college and the Jags have wasted 2, going on 3 seasons for this no talent bum with no upside as well. Unbelievable.

LOL, it's not terrible though. Gabbert will be gone after the year, and it will be Teddy B. most likely.

2 of the other 31 GMs wanted him, but then decided he couldn't get it done.
