This must be a serious man crush you have...uhhh, we have a game today and you are scouring the NC State depth chart to find your man who isn't here anymore?

This is a dumb, ill-timed thread. With two QBs in the same class with that much promise in the same class, you will always lose one. If Brissett had been the one back there in the pocket with a knee brace on, he might have sustained the same injury we'd be in the same fix we're in right now. FWIW, our #2 QB is getting valuable experience and appears to be leading us to a win.

From what I can see, Murphy's leading the team better than Brissett ever did. Plus he's a gator. No loss.

There is some serious BS posted. Does anyone really believe that the staff chose Driskel over Brissett and let JB go because of some kind of favoritism?

My guess is that they each had a shot at winning the job. Actually, since JD was recruited by Urban and JB was recruited by Weis, whom WM hired, I would guess that if there were going to be a favorite it would by JB.

Of course Pease had no allegiance to either. I think that chances are he just wanted to win football games and picked the one he thought gave him the best chance. Maybe WM thought that way as well.

Good for Tyler Murphy. It is his season now; and I wish him well.

Mods really need to consider banning any I-told-you so posters who mock Driskel or yah-yah about brissett.

This is not the time and place. Disgusting.

We shall see next year. I think you are going to be very surprised. I'm hearing everyone at NCSU is excited and gushing over him so far. They have anointed him their Teddy Bridgewater already.

I don't understand the Brisette love...he showed nothing while he was here and then left rather than compete.

I am one that didn't think Jacoby got a fair shot at the QB spot but then again, I am not the coach so it's none of my biz, just my opinion. I have also thought that Murphy wasn't given a fair shot either but he did awesome today. Congrats man.

Guess what? Just because he may be solid now doesn't mean he was good at Florida. Remember a guy named Cam Newton? He had zero touch on his passes while here.
