I know that DFS had a good game as well, but I was surprised that he was as close to CP as your metric showed.

Yeah, DFS had a double-double in scoring and rebounding. His 3 assists and 1 turnover was excellent as well. He quietly lit things up.

Shouldn't free throws be worth half of what a field goal attempt is: -.75 vs -1? I'd say they'd probably be closer to -.5 since there's value in drawing fouls on the other team.

FGA penalty credits were reduced from -2.0 to -1.5 because even good shooters only hit 50%.
    Making 1 of 2 two-point shots = (2 x 4)-(2 x -1.5) = 5 credits = same value as an assist.

FTA penalty stays at -1 because you are suppose to make your free throws!
If you are shooting 50% on free throws, you are hurting team. FTA stays at -1.

But who you drew the foul on matters a lot even if you miss both or the front end. How is that taken into account in your system?

DFS played 25 minutes. Were you thinking about Devon Walker? He only played 7 minutes.

Also, please tell me how you got the smiley face. Did you manually type in ":D" or is there an editing toolbar that I'm not seeing??
