.....The Beatles Made Their US Fan Debut Delight

On the Ed Sullivan show. Fan/admirer or not, it was a world changing event. ;)

Life just doesn't seem to have these kinds of cultural milestones anymore.

Katy Perry's performance sucked. WTH did she do to deserve the honor?

When we land on Mars it will be again, especially if it's interactive...

a lot of the kids in my home town were not allowed to watch it so we had about 20 kids over as my parents allowed us to watch their performance on the ED Sullivan Show- it was a different time

The twentieth century was something else. It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. It was never dull or stagnant, two attributes I find in abundance in the twenty-first century so far. There was always some fascinating technological achievement or exploratory milestone. The music reflected the technological progress and spoke to the things that needed to change. Although each generation despised the music of the one before and the one after it, it was all wonderfully innovative and ever-changing.

our small little school was alive the next day talking about their appearance- a lot of the girls were swooning- I think jjh was a SR that year so he could probably say lot more about the next day in school- his Dad was a teacher and really strict in the classroom

That would have been awesome. It is nice to know Paul finally put the Yoko "thing" to rest last year and that is why they were all seated next to each other along with Sean. Julian is in Africa, from what I have read, so he wasn't able to make it. Dhani Harrison is the spitting image of George.
