It's like Fox is to the GOP/Tea Party.

I saw that. I'd really like to know why Obama thinks he's above Obama-scam/tax when even the congress has to have it.

Hardly- Fox is to the right but at least attempts to offer both sides- NBC is a prezBO cheerleader

I still don't understand this. If he has health insurance, then he's compliant with the ACA, right?

In part, I agree with this line of thought. However, why wouldn't the Obamas sign up for it just to show that he isn't afraid to be covered by it? Im sure as POTUS he can find a comparable plan, especially if this thing is as good as they claim.

I don't know, that seems like a somewhat ornamental gesture, honestly.

If it is his signature law he should be forced to get the same insurance that he is force feeding the rest of us.

I don't disagree that he has done it before, but this is still a confusing qualm to me. People who have insurance are participating and complying with ACA.

I mean, that's ostensibly the point, right? To make sure everyone has some form of health insurance.

Becasue the entire congress had to sign up. I'm kind of confused as to why the congress in compelled to sign up for Obama-care too.

    What?

If you have health insurance, you are "signed up for Obamacare."

That's not what I'm saying. In the video Andra Mitchell asked the congressman if he signed up for Obama-care, thinking he hadn't, but he said he had, all of the congress had... Paraphrasing of course, but that was the gist of it.

I'm still not sure what the complaint is. If you have insurance, you are "signed up" for Obamacare in that it is ACA-compliant and does not result in a penalty for being uninsured.

I agree, it's complicated. The fact that that congressman said that the entire Congress signed up for Obama-care except for Obama makes me curious to know more about that detail too.

Right, but ACA is a system that, again ostensibly, is an attempt to have every American insured.

I have health insurance right now, so I'm ACA compliant. If you don't, you have to get it or pay a penalty (or tax, or whatever). If you go through the process, you may well end up having the same insurance I do. I don't think that means that I "didn't sign up for Obamacare" but you did.

So he's saying that he has Obama-care compliant insurance? Then why is Obama's insurance not Obama-care compliant... According to his argument?
