Beats having to constantly replace screens and such. For my use I am a contractor it fits such rough use is a part of the job!

I have a Nexus 4, which is stock android on t-mobile and I love it. Cost $299 and was comparable to the Iphone 5 at over $600. It's discontinued now that the Nexus 5 is coming out, which is supposed to be better than anything out there and will only cost $299 as well.

I'm getting the Note 3 next week and will put a custom ROM on it. My wife has the 5s and while it is a nice phone I am spoiled with large screens. If the iPhone 6 comes out with a 5.2-5.5" + screen then I'll consider an iPhone.

And iPhones also have hardware problems after a while. My wife was having to daily restart her last iPhone after 15-16 months. Thankfully Verizon still had the early upgrade option.
