Every team loses players. Here is a list of who FSU lost since last year.

TE Kevin Haplea - Injury, out for season

DB Tyler Hunter - Injury, out for season

    QB Clint Trickett - Transferred

WR Scooter Haggins - Injury, out for season

    WR Greg Dent - Legal

WR Marvin Bracy - Left team to focus on track

    WR Willie Haulstead - Grades

    RB Mario Pender - Grades

WR Isaiah Jones - Injury, out for season

WR Josh Gehres - Medically disqualified

    TE Will Tye - Transferred

    TE Christo Kourtsidis - Transfered

    OL Daniel Glauser - NCAA*

OL Trey Pettis - Medically disqualified

OL Ira Denson - Injury, out for season

OL Dan Foose - Medically disqualified

    DE Davarez Bryant - Grades

LB Matthew Thomas - Injury, out for season

    LB Jeff Luc - Transferred

    DB Justin Bright - Graduated

    OL Garrett Faircloth - ???

...To say nothing of the players we lost to the NFL:

    QB EJ Manuel - NFL

    OL Menelik Watson - NFL

    DE Bjoern Werner - NFL

    DE Brandon Jenkins - NFL

    RB Chris Thompson - NFL

    CB Xavier Rhodes - NFL

    LB Vince Williams - NFL

    LB Nick Moody - NFL

    DE Tank Carradine - NFL

    K Dustin Hopkins - NFL

    DT Everette Dawkins - NFL

    WR Rodney Smith - NFL

    RB Lonnie Pryor - NFL

    DT Anthony McCloud - NFL

That's an awful lot of players, but FSU has done just fine this year. I think the real problem with UF is their offensive philosophy. Pease was not a good hire. His offenses at Baylor, Kentucky, and Boise were better before he got there and in some cases were better after he left. Let's face it, UF's offense hasn't been good in years. It's not the injuries.

I think Muschamp can be a great one, but he needs a real OC and then he needs to learn to delegate to him.

you have your starting QB 3 starting WR's top 2 RB's all of them recruited by Jimbo because he was holding Bowdens hand while he was on his death bed.

TRY AGAIN TROLL. lol at putting people on that list that you knew were going to struggle to qualitfy

The sad thing is, 2 of our injuries thrust better players in the starting roles (Murphy, Taylor) because our coaches can't evaluate.

Thank you, FSU's offense struggled under Jimbo for 5 years and will again as soon as Winston is gone.

This thread is ridiculous, almost all of those guys on that list were not starters, we would be ok if all of our injuries were guys on the practice squad. Once Winston is gone, your precious noles will go crawl back in the dumpster they crawled out of.

The problem is you assume our offensive coaches know what they are doing.

2 of those guys were starters (WR Dent and DB Hunter)

FSU is starting a true freshman at DB because of Hunter's injury. About 7 of them were expected to be major contributors and forced Jimbo to move defensive players to offense. Karlos from DB to RB to cover for Pender, and Newberry from DE to TE to cover for Haplea and Christo. Depth is still a huge concern on the OL, but the starting 5 has managed to stay healthy so far.

None of those lost players are equal to the loss of Easley however. He was looking like the best defensive player in college football. Losing him was killer.

Muschamp probably never even called Winston. He was too busy signing another 5 Defensive ends and Skyler Morningwheg.
