Of the top 11 players in florida next year. Unbelievable. And 13 of the top 100.

St Thomas Aquinas has 11 of the top 100.

Sorry, I'm kind of tired of rehashing the same old 2018 stuff. I figured I'd throw something together for those interested.

Ohio State has commits/leans from 2 of the top OL in florida along with a few other kids already.

This list has a heavy UF flavor to it.

#1 RB 5* Trey Sanders decomitted from Bama after falling in love with the Swamp. Hopefully we can land this kid.

#9 in florida is 4* OLB Jaleel McRae. I'm not sure if he's still commited but hes a beast.

#15 (up from 29) 4* Jaquaze Sorrells former DT commit from largo.

#6 4* Keon Zipperer- TE out of Lakeland. Excellent athlete. 100% UF (247)

#18 Anthony Solomon 4* OLB -st Thomas Aquinas (Aubreys brother) 100% Michigan

#19 (up from 28) 4* John Dunmore 6'2" 172 WR Hollywood fl- Gator commit

    #21 Maurice Goolsby 4* WR -6'5" 196 Dunellon, Florida (247 100% UF)

#24 Kaiir Elam 4* CB North Palm beach (related to matt?) (247 100% uf)

#30 Jaden Davis 4* CB -St Thomas Aquinas (1 Of 6 or 7 STA players in the top 30) 247 100% UF

    #44 John Dixon 4* CB- 5'10" 170 Wharton- Tampa (247 100% UF)

    #48 Jamarkis Weston - 4* ATH 6'3" 195 Clewiston Gator commit

#57 Wardrick Wilson 3* OT- 6'4" 295- Miami Norland Gator commit

#64 Marcus Tillman 6'0" 195 3* OLB- Orlando Jones Gator commit

#66 Cameron Williams 3* WDE 6'5" 215- Chaminade Hollywood, Florida gator commit

    Our Wrs are 6'2", 6'5", 6'3" ATH, 6'3" TE

Thanks. I figured as much due to his location. He plays at Benjamin.

I looked down the 247 Comp and they have 15 Florida players of which 6 are at IMG. I was glad to see 9 are spread out across Florida. Hopefully we can get momentum next season to increase our chances.

We should have some momentum with an entire year for Mullen to reach out to these kids. Lakeland has 3-4 kids ranked. Booker T has 4 +/-. Palm beach county seems to be loaded too. It'll be interesting to watch unfold. 2 or 3 of the kids that they show committed to fsu were commited to dumbo. That could change.

Yes its too early to tell other than UGaly is getting whoever they want. We need to get some Gator logos back up on the 100 list.

    Interesting Notorious, thanks.

Did anyone notice, while looking at the 2019 247 list that Georgia has a commit from a kid that attends Dracula High School. Whoops - Dacula.

I'm liking that "heavy UF Flavor" part.

I don't like that the IMG kids get ranked as "Florida" kids. Most of them aren't. They should be listed under their home state (where they SHOULD be attending HS).

We lost the state under McElwain and taking it back needs to be a priority. I know we have a lot of competition, but if Mullen makes it a priority....and is successful, I think we are a top 5 program again....and real quick (by 2019, 2020 season?).

We conceded Jacksonville to all takers, that needs to be a priority again. Same goes for Tampa. We also didn't have much success in the state of Georgia under McElwain. I know Kirby is trying to lock it down, but we did just pull a stud QB from there....I'd like to see us get 2 or 3 of their top 25 (or so) every year.

Our class should have 8-1o of the top 50-60 Florida kids every year...with a sprinkling of top 100 (I'll take a high 3-star OL or DT that's ranked in the top 100 from a Florida HS any day).

No problem man. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I could've added a boat load more but I didn't want to stay up too late and overload my post with too much info.

It's extremely interesting to me that nearly 25% of the top 100 is from 2 schools.

We will most likely have to go out of state again for a QB. The top ranked dual QB is just a little guy. His dad used to coach at my high school.

He's #56 Nick Scalzo 5'11" 185 3 star out of cardinal gibbons. He favors yale and illlinois. Hes too small for the SEC.

Next best kid is #59 3* Pro style 6'4" 185 out of West Port (Ocala). Hes looking at Indiana, FAU, USF. Not our caliber kid.

#61 Curt Casteel out of St Thomas Aquinas. 6'2" 185 3 * pro style looking at BC, CUSE and cinci.

We definitely need to look elsewhere.

UF rarely gets anyone from IMG or St Thomas.

At some point we need to make some kind of inroad at IMG. Even just one player would help. There’s too much talent there for us to keep getting shut out.

I agree. It seemed like almost everyone of them is considering Bama. Go figure.

Chris Bleich, OL from PA we just signed played at IMG. He transferred back to his home state for his senior season. Interestingly, he committed to Penn State while he was at IMG....transferred back to PA, decommitted from Penn State and committed to UCLA....decommitted from UCLA and committed, then signed w/ UF.

    How about Grayson HS (GA)?

    Grayson High School in Georgia:
    2019 Five-star LB Owen Pappoe
    Four-star WR Kenyon Jackson
    Four-star OL Wayna Morris
    Four-star RB Ronald Thompkins

(I saw this on TOS, all 4 are visiting Tenn this weekend. They have a big recruiting weekend coming up w/ LB's Quay Walker and JJ Peterson visiting)
