We went to the taping of the show this afternoon and scored some seats front and center. I was wearing a hoodie with "1962" blazoned across the front. Letterman comes out right before the show starts to chat up the audience for a couple minutes. He immediately keys on me and asks what's so special about 1962. I was totally unprepared for this and told him just that it was 16 years before I was born. He had me stand up and show the audience my shirt. Then he asked again if it was of any significance. It really doesn't mean anything, I just liked it. Then one of the producers said that Osh Kosh B'gosh was founded in 1962 (I have no idea where this came from). Letterman asked if that's what it is for, so I just give him the thumbs up. The shows starts and he eventually mentions something about them looking up Osh Kosh B'gosh and determining that it was actually founded in 1895, so I should be wearing an 1895 shirt instead, lol. The camera is on me for a few seconds. Then, in his top 10, it was something like...."questions that can be answered with the word 'bacon'". When he got to 7 or 6, it was something like "what was produced in 1962?". The camera is back on me for a few seconds. Anyways, that's my excitement for the day! Very surreal moment, lol. Watch it if you can! It's the Tuesday show with Michael J Fox.
