Please tell me all these transfers mean a push to get in on some "stud"----not just "regular"---offensive lineman that would relish some early PT. Yes, I understand how difficult it is for freshmen to come in and play a lot on the OL, I also know it's difficult to completely whiff on blocks and block your own man. The things I saw last year changed my entire perspective on what I would ever see at the University of Florida. I'm willing to change my perspective on freshmen offensive linemen being better thatn people who have been around for 2 years.

It's obvious to me that the bulk of the transfers came after conversations with coaches when they realized their PT would be scarce. Now we have to hope that the coaching staff evaluates and signs players who can play.

Of course, Sharpe, et al, will take their spots.

Bare in mind if we only fill the spots of transfers we are still short of 85.

Expecting freshmen to come in to the SEC and play well on the O-line is asking a lot.

We 're Gators, we ask a lot. I'm hoping the current roster can be coached and any frosh able to play can provide a little depth.
