    I called this on another thread right when I read the new IRS leader's so-called testimony. Wow, am I good!

    I know liberals aren't often great at math (see abortion debate), so I expect plenty of MSM Kool-Aid to follow this post.

    Refuting Democratic suggestions that progressive groups were also swept up in the IRS probe of the tax status of Tea Party organizations, the Treasury Department's inspector general has revealed that just six progressive groups were targeted compared to 292 conservative groups.

    In a letter to congressional Democrats, the inspector general also said that 100 percent of Tea Party groups seeking special tax status were put under IRS review, while only 30 percent of the progressive groups felt the same pressure.

    The Wednesday letter to the top Democrat on the House Ways and Means Committee punched a huge hole in Democratic claims that progressive groups were targeted as much as the Tea Party groups from May 2010-May 2012, the height of the Tea Party movement.

    The letter from the Treasury Department Inspector General for Tax Administration revealed that there just weren't many progressive groups who even sought special tax exempt status. A total of 20 sought it, and six were probed. All 292 Tea Party groups, meanwhile, were part of the IRS witchhunt.

    I was gonna try to make a witty reply to this topic, especially in regards to the outright falsehoods that several liberal posters have been sowing here on this topic, but I see Masta is back to being active on THFSG so, I'll leave all witticism to the Masta!

    The numbers are irrelevant. Both were scrutinized. Issa only asked for the con groups. Made up controversy.

    Hard to know what to believe anymore, given what's come out:

    The IRS targeted conservative groups.
    The IG only looked at targeting conservative groups, didn't look at all at targeting liberal groups.
    The IRS also targeted liberal groups.
    No it didn't.

    This proves that those on the right are liars because they said they were targeted exclusively. 97.98% is not exclusive!

    During the original testimony, the Senate invited any Liberal Group that was targeted. None showed up.

    I find that compelling, don't you?
