If (WHEN) Auburn hammers fsu...do you think Tally will turn on rapemus winston? orwill he still be set on a white, pure pedestal.

I honestly don't see Auburn beating FSU, so sort of a moot point.

I can tell you one household in Tally that has already turned on him. And in that household he is exclusively referred to as "Rapeis Squintston."

I believe they can..i dont think fsu can stop malzhan's offense, especially with a month to gameplan for them..i believe it will be a shootout...if auburn D can stop the run and handcuff oleary, they have a chance..benjamin is going to get his catches but o leary is the go to guy.

    I hope so.

The problem is FSU plays some modicum of defense and Auburn really doesn't. I'm praying that Auburn pulls it out, though.

agree completely. I hope it's the whole UF-osu effect though...fsu believes it's merely a coronation and is giving auburn no respect whatsoever..saw how that played out in 2006.

I think (and hope) War Eagle wins this one. I will come back and gladly eat crow and sing the girls school's praises if I am wrong. However, In my 36 years on this planet, and a good 26 of those following college ball, I have never witnessed a team with such an easy path. Whether just flat out playing patsies or, cough cough, injured teams....the crimis have had the path of least resistance. I just honestly think they are in for a coaching and overall physically rude awakening.

    Go Auburn!

Auburn is a team of destiny. Look how they've survived all their close encounters. FSU has not yet been in a close tight game beating all teams convincingly and averaging nearly 44 points per game. That can sometimes work against you as much or more than it can work for you.

So, if this is a close game which I think it will be, Auburn has the mental and physical advantage and has played a far tougher schedule. I believe Auburn has played the 20th toughest schedule and FSU has played the 62 toughest.

Auburn is an excellent team in the trenches especially the offense and I think they will dominate both lines of scrimmage, get after Jameis, and win this game. I've watched Auburn play several times this year and they have some nasty offensive linemen that will flat pancake you on some of their run sweeps.

The SEC should get their 8th consecutive national title.

I've witnessed two other teams with paths as easy: 93' and 99' noles.

They went toe to toe with bamas lines, there is no way fsu's would do the same.

After watching what they did to Missouri, I think Auburn has a shot. When you pound away for almost 300 yards against 'Bama on the ground and gash the vaunted Tiger front the way Auburn did in Atlanta, it's hard to see Florida State being able to do much to shut that attack down. Even with a month to prepare.

Also, I don't believe FSU has had to enter a fourth quarter where the game was actually on the line. I see this game going back and forth for sixty minutes. I wonder how FSU responds to getting hit in the mouth for more than just thirty minutes.

Based on results against relative competition, I think most people would agree that Alabama probably has a significantly better defense than FSU. Auburn came from behind and scored 28 legitimate points against Bama and 6 "fluky" points. If I extrapolate that out to FSU, I'm guessing they can score 35 legit points (I think Bama is at least a TD better defense than FSU), and maybe get some fluke points (since they seem to get them every big game), which puts them in the 40-ish point range against FSU.

Auburn is certainly no great shakes on D, but at least having seen A&M, LSU, UGa, Bama, and Missouri should have them somewhat prepared for what FSU does. So, hopefully they can hold them in that same 40-ish point range.

Conversely, I don't think FSU has seen anything like what Auburn does on O. Clemson? FSU jumped on them early, Boyd imploded, and Clemson folded...Auburn could've done that against Bama and didn't. So, how will FSU respond if Auburn doesn't just go away like so many teams have against them this season?

This may end up being a "whoever has the ball last wins" kinda game, and Auburn has been in those multiple times this year, and FSU has never been in anything like that this year. Not for any of the same reasons on the same sides of the ball, but this is setting up somewhat like the UF/OSU NC game. OSU had cruised through that whole season (against questionable competition), was heavily favored, and had no idea how to handle it when the Gators started to pull away from them.

I don't think anyone questions that Auburn will move the ball. I just think that FSU will move the ball more
