Jordan Reed would be valuable in numerous ways this season

Appears he made the right call

Better get out your Harry Potter wand and use the obliviate spell on yourself when the season is over if Murphy goes down.

If Murphy goes down it means we have angered some sort of deity, we might need a live chicken.

Purifoy is a converted QB. Was awesome for Pensacola Pine Forest. My nephew played against/with DJ Pettway, Jacobbi McDaniel, Juice Johnson, and said Purifoy was the best athlete he ever played against.

Considering that there are "Gators" in here who are actually more or less celebrating Driskel's injury, I suppose in furtherance of an agenda I hate to imagine, I think we might just deserve it.

The Driskel-haters have been having a field day in here. Some sound like they think Jeff deserved what HE got.

I hope he comes back and wins the job in the spring so I can listen to them gripe.

I have seen things in here today that I find repulsive.

I am sad that nobody showed up to my house party where we were supposed to "celebrate" Driskel's injury

I agree with this, also disgusting are the "Gators" who are hoping that Murphy craps the bed so they can gloat about it.

If Murphy goes down we have our 1st losing season in a long time.....we may not be that far from there even if he doesn't get injured.

Oh and anybody who is celebrating JD's injury needs to grow up.

No one is celebrating his injury. I haven't seen a single post where that is the case. What I do see is posters believing that Murphy's play was superior to Jeff's and that our chances for success have increased. That may be debatable, but it doesn't equate to celebrating the injury.

Don't write off an unproven QB before he even plays a down.

I'm reminded of the time we had to go down the roster to the guy that was 5th on the depth chart. Shane Matthews. All-SEC first teamer and NFL long-timer. Some guys just grow into the job.

What about this Chris Wilkes kid? The one who played in the MLB for 3-4 years? I mean it worked out great for Oklahoma St with Brandon Weeden.

Exactly. Kerwin Bell was like 8th string (and a walk-on) before becoming the starting QB as a freshman. He did o.k.

If we start converting people back to QB we will have problems. I think Morningwheg is next. Is Provancha still here. He looked good in the spring a couple of years ago.

We run 7 OLinemen and run the wishbone with Burton, Brown/Jones, Joyner and Patton/Showers.

We don't ask our QBs to do anything more than a high school level passing game

I am in the camp that will just enjoy watching the Gators continue to win. Rubbing it in the faces of all the jackasses that said our season is over if Driskel goes down will be icing on the cake.

Yeah, you know who you are...
