Who would get left out of the BCSCG? IF none of the above lose...

    Bama makes it.... because "SEC"

Oregon has Cal next after a bye week. OSU just played Cal. The Ducks' current ranked schedule is @#17 Washington, #13 UCLA, and @#5 Stanford.

Ohio St plays #24 Wisconsin, @#18 Northwestern, and @#15 Michigan.
Urban's biggest test is a team that just barely held off Terry Bowden's Akron team, who lost 38-7 to UCF.

Looks like Bama/Oregon in the BCS to me, with OSU & Urban Meyer getting left out.
    You're welcome.

Louisville will probably go undefeated but be left out because of their wussy schedule.

The media would be salivating at wanting to see a 25-0 Urban Meyer go up against Saban looking to defend the National Championship.

Sounds good to me all around.

Bama and OR most deserving, Big 10 looks quite weak with Wiscy's loss and NEB's flop on Saturday, OSU plays no one, and MEYER IS SORT OF A TOOL...

The PAC (whatever) is stronger at the top and middle than the Big 10. I don't see a scenario where Oregon gets left out, if unbeaten. Oh, there will be plenty of wailing and gnashing of teeth from Herbstreit and the homers, but Oregon has the style points and the schedule. Go Ducks.

Urban's mystery health issues would blast out of remission if he had to face Saban.

Part of me would like to see that match up. Little Nicky would be salivating at that possibility.

I forgot about Louisville. I'm all for Charlie Strong giving Urban his first Buckeye loss.

I would love to see OSU get left out of the game and then win their bowl game and still not be awarded the title even by the AP poll.

The lousy weak schedule tOSU plays will (and should) bite them in the buttocks this year.

The real story will be if it comes down to an undefeated OSU, oregon and one loss SECteam. My guess is it'll be a hard push for. OSU Oregon.

If Oregon and tOSU are unbeaten, no 1 loss SEC team will jump them.
tOSU has enough ranked teams to make their schedule seem decent.

Lets say Florida wins the rest of their games and lets say we beat #1, undefeated Bama. Even if we are #4 behind Bama, OSU and Oregon (all undefeated), we would almost certainly be at least #2 if not #1 after beating Bama in the SECCG.

The key thing to remember here is this, the computers absolutely love us. Our SOS (and other stats) are like gold to the computers. Its almost possible to be #2 as a one loss team (around FSU game or so) ahead of OSU and Oregon even if the human voters vote them #2,3.

My preference would be that the SEC, even a hated rival, should win the national championship for the next few decades. Given the three choices above, I would think tOSU gets left out. This early in the season, it looks like a contest between Alabama and Oregon until one of them chokes. I would like to see tOSU go in there and get beat 49-48 by Alabama.

I agree, AF, but I'd prefer the final score 49-0...

Just to watch UM go apoplectic the whole game.

And probably be in a hospital the next day.

If all 3 go undefeated then it is Bama Vs the ducks. OSU's weak schedule would severely haunt them.

I think in this case the PAC 12 commissioner's decision to step up ooc games will extremely help their chances esp. with the computers. I think that Bama has some issues though and if they happen to make it through Oregon has a lot to look at after this weekend and unless Bama's defense gets better against the spread and quick mobile quarterbacks this could be an interesting title game.
