Ludicrous of him to say that - I almost feel sorry for Pease if this is the case. We just got toasted by the kind of offense CWM refuses to run. Why would any pass oriented OC come here? Why would any stellar WRs come here? Get ready for another year of offense in the hundreds if this is true...

I'm re-listening to the presser to see if i missed where he said he was keeping this style of offense. I understand everyone's pissed about the outcome of the year, but good grief, stop with the bs.

Hiring the right OC for next year will determine wether or not WM will be the HBC for 2015.

He didn't say it. There are people that literally make up stuff. He had a perception is not reality comment and he said he would look at philosophy.

For all we know, he may keep Pease and Davis. Don't be surprised about anything at this point.

I think Will actually said he'd be willing to make some changes to his philosophy if necessary

No, forgot about the radio presser. I will now though, not because i want to prove anyone wrong, but because I too want to hear what he has to say about the season. I seriously doubt he would do a 360 to what he says in the GV presser. And if i'm wrong about that I would admit that and comment just the same. If anyone has a link to the radio presser, please pm me the link if it isn't allowed to post it. Thanks in advance.

He said that "perception is not reality" referring to the idea that fans perceive that he is committed to having a "ground and pound," "control the clock" type offense. He also said that he was going to evaluate what we are doing schematically, and when asked if he would change, he said he would do whatever we need to do to score points.

While I admittedly lost confidence in this staff during the Missouri game, I will say that:

    1. Foley has already made a decision that Will gets another year
    2. I am encouraged that Will seems negotiable with himself when it comes to changing the offense
    3. I hope that translates into hiring an offensive coordinator that will attack defenses early and often, scoring as many points as they can, as quickly as possible.

    In Christ forever,
    Mike

Whoo hoo - now we're going to evaluate that their fail plan was full of fail. Couldn't determine that a bit sooner - say half way through the season, a year ago....

Can't really blame Silberman, I'm sure the players don't enjoy being in an offense that doesn't work.

WR Demarcus Robinson was suspended for the rest of the season by Muschamp for basically uttering a similar complaint about the offense a few weeks ago.

Don't know why Silberman thinks it's going to get any better when all Muschamp will do is micro-manage the next OC we bring in.

This won't ever change under "Meltdown Muschamp".

    Won't happen.

Muschamp is all mouth and will say anything to appease his detractors.

"A leopard cannot change his spots", and Muschamp isn't about to change his.
