I wouldn't trade places with a Bama fan right now.

Losing an undefeated season and a shot at the National and SEC Championship games to your arch rival on a missed field goal returned for 105 yards for a game-winning touchdown with no time on the clock?

    F that S right to H.

It's worse. I think it was more like 109 yds, but they don't keep official statistics beyond the goal line in that situation.

I live here in Huntsville. Should be fun this week and take some of the stink out of our season hearing all of the Bama fans whine. I told my Bama fans beware of the Auburn luck at home. I have seen the Gators lose there 5 times in the last 30 years with the better team.

Better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all.

There was a thread here today about being able to watch today's game "Stress-free" without worry about getting shellacked by our rival on our home field because it was inevitable. Somehow thats better? No thanks.

I'd take that and being relevant over going 4-8, losing 7 straight with an offense rated in the 100s 3 years running EVERY DAMN DAY.

I would trade them. They are still alive. The need USCe to get to Atlanta and win. They need MSU to beat tOSU.

Bama is still alive. What are we?

I would in a second. We lost to an FCS team at home? This season is 100 times worse than 1995, for example. Plus, if OSU and Auburn lose, Bama is still in the NC.

I understand and appreciate what the OP is saying. I know a lot of us have been feeling the pain this season. But I know there are some deeply distraught Bama fans out there. Losing this game, like that, to Auburn, must be troubling them to their cores.

Look, our season died a slow agonizing death, but Bama's was killed instantly in a scenario like this:

AU and OSU are nowhere guaranteed locks for the bcs. SC and Mizz are playing very well right now and MSU has a tough defense.

I wouldn't trade my degree with a Bama fan and having to live in Alabama, but I'd trade teams and coaches.

I live in Hoover, AL and it's weird here. I expected implosions but what we got was neighbors yelling "Roll Tide" and "War Eagle". It went on for about 10 minutes. Wife and son joined in (Auburn fans). I said I guess this is what it's like to win a game.
