I wonder if Easley will consider a redshirt?

I mean, he could do that. I hope he considers it at least.

He could but he may not want to risk another injury. On the other hand he would improve his draft status if he was able to play another year injury free.

why come back and risk another injury? head to the NFL and cash in with millions in bonus cash, living the good life---24/7 parties, spending big money at the clubs on top dollar champagne and hennessy, wild chicks all over, living in a mansion, driving a bentley, --- what's not to like?

If he indeed tore his ACL, which is a big if right now he should just get healthy and go to the League.

If staying was such a smart move, why didn't Lattimore do it?

Dominique has been here for 4 years. He has nothing left to prove. Just get healthy and move on with his life and career.

Based upon his quotes from his last presser, he's outta here.

For his sake, he better be drafted by a northern team, he's not too fond of the south, our cities or our food...

He doesn't like Southern food? That's just crazy. Say what you want, but Southern food tastes amazing.

I don't think he would stay either. But it certainly is an option. Someone said he has nothing left to prove. I totally disagree. I think he is great talent, but he really hasn't had a chance to display it a ton at UF. Last year he played well, but not great. He was definitely playing great this year, but it's only three games. There is a ton left to prove here.

As an Easley fan, get the money. I'm pretty sure he will graduate too.

He has given us everything, will be hopeful for his turn in the league

I disagree with a lot of what's posted. He was a borderline first rounder pre-season and would have been a top 10 pick the way he was playing. Heal, come back, play for a full year at his potential and next year he may be a top 5 pick.

He'll be what, 3rd rounder this yr. now? I'm not sure with rookie caps if it makes a difference anymore, though. I don't follow the NFL that much. Maybe a top 10 pick and 90th pick make the same.

Exactly. Even with the injury, he is a first day draft pick. Defensive tackles with two ACLs don't have a tremendous career span anyway.

The money he makes as a 6th round pick vs coming back and earning a 2nd round grade is pretty significant.

DE has more than enough film that shows what he can do. He neeeds to concentrate on the combine and draft. Show well at the combine and he is no worse than an early 2nd rounder and could sneak into the first round.

Won't be first rounder but I am pulling for this guy so hard. To me he is the only one on this team that gave a shi% 100% of time. I love that and have all the respect for him. Love watching the guy play and I'm sorry the coaches and his other teammates couldn't get him into a sec championship game.

Since we're just making up draft positions based on nothing more than psychedelic drug use...the money he would make as an undrafted free agent vs coming back and getting drafted in the first round is way, way more than significant, dude.
