All I am saying is FSU is head and shoulders above us. This game showcased athletes the likes of which we have not seen in four years.

Watching Auburn's offense now, very aggressive. After having watched our sideline to sideline passing, behind the line, and running into stacked line of scrimmage. If only recruits couldn't watch the games. I feel bad that some recruits were at the game. FSU will just skim the top of what's left. We will still have Will. Easy for Foley, bad for UF football.

True. Look at Auburn. What were they a year ago? 3-8? There are other examples ...

And we don't get an extra 20 or so bowl game practices. Next year is setting up nicely

I think Meyer's "broken program" was actually the fact that he was not allowed to recruit like the other schools do. At one time I hated Meyer & blamed our problems on him, now I think the real culprit may be Machen's policies. I'm worried that so much attention is on the coach that we may miss the root cause. I'm wondering if Foley is staying with Muschamp until Machen leaves & UF can review ehether we want to handicap ourselves.

    You're right. I meant Latroy.

And I was responding to the post asking about the future. For example, I'm not saying the offensive line is going to be better. I'm saying that we will have talent there. But how good will they be? Depends on coaching and injuries.

The bunch of guys who only played because of injury have by doing so showed their going to be players? How good? That remains to be seen. But they have shown they are going to be at least quality contributors.

And elite or not, Matt Jones is a damn good running back.

And you may disagree, but I think we've got a lot of talent on the roster coming back. Hence, I think there's reason for optimism. Not that we're going to be awesome next year, but tere is reason for optimism.

I agree that Will Grier might be the real deal, but any QB would look bad with a terrible O'line. I'd be at least optimistic next year if our O'line got it together. The QB's playing great would just be icing.

Overrated in my opinion. Those extra practices did not help us in last years bowl game or this season. Though when we stink next season I'm sure that will be pointed at as a reason to keep Muschamp even longer

And very little downfield passing. Lots of different ways to do things. There is no good system or bad system, there are just wins, which makes any system good.

Except if it was UF's 11-2 year last year, in which the wins don't count.

Amazing how different things look when you win. Nobody thought FSU looked all that great after last years game. Of course Fisher replaced half of his coaches this year.

And winston could have very easily been suspended for this game, we are truley 1 qb away from a good team ( with minimum injuries)

Yep that's pretty funny. Who do you think he'd take Jones or Gurley?
