FSU beating Bama in the title game would leave me in the bathroom
That would suck.
How in the world is F$u in the two spot of the bcs poll? It seems their schedule is at this point better than Oregon. But after the rest of the season plays out, hopefully Oregon will get the nod.
FSU's opponents are 21-12 this year. FSU's best win is #9 Clemson.
Oregon's opponents are 14-22 this year. Oregon's best win is either unranked Washington or unranked Tennessee.
Oregon will play two ranked teams in the next two weeks though, so if they win out, they should hop back to number 2.
Got a really stupid and quite despicable sister-in-law that all of a sudden has started posting big, ugly, ketchup and mustard colored graphics and logos and what-nots all over facebook before and after their every game. Disgusting. We need to whoop 'em.
Schedule may not be as weak as you may believe.
* Clemson may only have one loss at the end of the season, which would put them near the top five (USCe doesn't look to have anywhere near as good a team at this juncture);
* FSU may beat Miami, but if the Canes run the table, they will be a top five team before the ACCCG.
* FSU and Virginia Tech might both beat Miami, which would keep Miami in the top ten with only two losses. Virginia Tech may run the table and be a top five team prior to the ACCCG.
* Florida may get a wild hair up ITS ass and run the table up to the FSU game, that would put them in the top 15 prior to the FSU game.
FSU wins them all, they would have beaten four ranked teams, three of which would be top ten. If the above scenario holds true, Alabama would probably beat four ranked teams as well in Virginia Tech, LSU, Auburn, and the SECCG (plus perhaps Ole Miss). Oregon would have played UCLA, Stanford, Oregon State and the PACCG.
It is by no means a guarantee that FSU would be shut out. Having four strong programs in the ACC is what the Powers That Be envisioned back in 2004 when they brought Miami and VT to the ACC.
Oregon will lose a game, just watch. Bama and FSU for the title.
I'm amazed every year. Every year. Will some of you never learn? There is a reason that the SEC has won seven straight MNCs. Its because the league is physically superior athletically. Mainly with big (make that HUGE) DL and LBs that can run like the little guys.
I saw Oregon in person last year. Their skill people are unbelievable - probably a little better than Bama's. But their linemen are just not top-tier SEC-level linemen. Their OL will not block Bama and Bama's speed on defense will chase down Mariotti and Thomas.
It might not be the typical 30-40-point SEC beatdown in the BCSCG, but Bama would win it by double-digits.
I want to see THE LIAR face Satan, I mean Saban again,
i have seen more car flags go up on the nolies cars here within the past two days than the past 10 years... i hope someone can bring them back down to earth
The ironic thing is that fsu needs us to win. By us losing it actually hurts their schedule strength. I hate them and want nothing good for them ever. So if there is a silver lining to our season it is this. UT beating USC really helped Oregon too.
lets focus our energy on our team and hope we can be in the four team playoff next year
all I care now is for a quick transition to a well coached team which we are not.
Until Clemson, fsu's schedule has been an utter joke. Even the schedules of fsu's opponents before Clemson were a joke. The BCS is a scam for the most part. It's not a TRUE computer poll as too many, outside, biased opinions are added into it's computations.
Or do you remember the two Washington Husky reporter fans who were ranking Washington #1 even after they lost a game that year?
What an a$$. I wouldn't have tipped him.
Well if we had not beaten undefeated West Virginia in the bowl game in 1993, I think WV gets the NC over FSU. That is the only game I wanted us to get an L to prevent Fsu from getting a NC.
f$u might beat alabama--they are loaded with talent. hopefully, they don't get a chance.
halfassu has jumped Oregon in the BCC standings. I hate fsu but they are playing at an unbelievable level and they can win it all. Dadgummit!
Did I mention I HATE fsu? Such unbelievable levels of hate inside me for those clown college folks.... FSU vs. Soviets.... Soviets.... FSU vs. Satan... Satan....
Thanks for letting me vent
FSU vs Bama would be a good game. FSU is much better than last year and Bama is not quite as good as last year. Give Saban nearly 4 weeks to prepare and my money would be on Bama.
Actually it's already happened at least in the BCS standings. FSU is #2. Not to say it will end up that way but clearly Oregon doesn't have to lose in order for FSU to be #2.
Get everyone healthy back for he FSU game other than Easely we can hold them to a minimum amount of points.
