I know it's early, but rank out offense in the SEC

I can think of only a few teams that I can say we are better offensively.

    Auburn
    Mississippi St
    Kentucky?

And I would say our defense is easily top 3 in the SEC.

Yes it's early into the 2013, but our offense has been weak for the last few years under WM. It's boring to watch and our attendance is falling as a result of it. I knew we were in trouble as soon as we hired WM and he said "we would be a blue collar team, not a finesse team." Well that's what we get, good ol B10 3 yards and a cloud of dust type team. Heck, B10 offenses are more explosive than we are.

I think it's ridiculous how bad our offense has become and with the recruiting base and resources we have, there is no excuse why our offense is at the bottom of the barrel...no matter what our HC specializes in. Unacceptable. There I feel better :hairy:

With looking at LSU now with 35 at halftime, we have to be down in the bottom two or three as worst offense. We could always count on LSU being more pathetic than us, but not with their new OC and Mettenberger finally living up to his hype.

    Oh well.

Not sure of any SEC teams we're better than offensively.
    Let's see....
    Alabama - definitely not
    Georgia - certainly not
South Carolina - not a chance
    LSU - nope
    Ole Miss - nope
    Arkansas - nope
    Vanderbilt- nope
    Tennesse - don't think so

Outside of 'time of possession'....our offense is pretty bad.

It's not the offense, it's not the play calling, it's not Driskel.... It's our inability to be a disciplined football team and our propensity to shoot ourselves in the foot and self destruct. We have enough talent to be a good football team so long as we stop beating ourselves.

I honestly haven't given this much thought but of our offensive playmakers who would start at Bama, UGA, USC, Vandy, LSU etc...
I'm not saying they have to be better than every SEC competition, but from team to team how do we stack up?
Anyone who hasn't been drinking want to give it a shot?

will just needs a decent but not great offense and a game manager at QB---his team is built on defense. when the defense gets it together against tennessee, uf wins easily
