Would we accept both tomorrow if they wanted to decide then?
I would think so you cant really trust these out of state players who are deciding 6 months from now like Adoree Jackson and Jalen Tabor. Also all those south Florida kids are pretty close they are going to make their own decision but each ones decision will have some influence on the others
A DB class if Duke, JC, Quincy, Lammons and Adams sounds realistic. Is 5 too many?
At the beginning of the cycle they said they wanted to take 4 CB's and maybe a safety. We are losing 4 CB's this year in Roberson Purifoy Brown and Watkins. I think they would make room for a 5th CB if Tabor or Jackson wanted in.
AZ, do you think that we get another RB in this class? I don't think there is any chance of getting Scarborough from Bama, Rock Thomas is not coming, and I can't think of anyone else we are close with. Givins the FB seems to be one that UF is waiting to give a commit- able offer to, but he is more of a FB.
Our chances of getting Jackson are very realistic and but I feel like tabor is gonna end up at Bama, but Joe Haden has been keeping in contact with him so that helps
I am not sure what they are going to do at RB. I think they really only want an elite player at the postion. If we hold on to Cook I dont think we need another RB in this class since nobody is graduating
Maryland is also a team to watch with Tabor
Is he visiting us again?
The fact is he didn't come to the FNL concerns me. He has people working out a deal with Under Armour, which Maryland sponsors.
I have no clue he visited Maryland Vandy and Bama this off season but not UF
Does he want to "play for titles" at Maryland with Diggs?
From what I've read it's the only team.
KD Cannon top 50-100 WR from Texas named us in his top 5
Five isn't too many if you don't get any elite CBs to commit early. You go quantity vs. quality and assume that one or more will be a diamond in the rough. Duke could turn out to be a safety. JC is borderline elite. Maybe Quincy too, but it's like we were with WRs last year. We grabbed some good physical specimen early on, but no truly elite prospects. Then we got DRob, who wasn't elite by national standards, but was obviously very physical and advanced technique wise and a prototype for the SEC.
The flip side of that was CB, where we only took one because he was elite. We might have only needed one, but we didn't need to sign three to be sure that one was good enough to contribute.
Just my opinion, but what do I know?
Getting Cannon would be huge, I'm not sure of why he likes us but I'll take it.
Good friends with jamal Adams

I will verbally commit in late November..!
A consensus four-star prospect rated as one of the top five wide receivers in the country by the 247Sports composite rankings, the 6'0, 160-pound Cannon was a participant in The Opening this summer and sits at No. 38 nationally. A top-10 player in the state for 2014, notable programs like Florida State, Miami, Notre Dame, Oklahoma State, Texas A&M, and Texas were all officially eliminated with the release of Cannon's top five.
AUSTIN, Texas -- There comes a point in the recruiting process for many of the top players in the country where there really isn't much to say.
Sure, there's plenty of speculation behind the scenes about which school leads or potential favorites, but the prospect offers little publicly, having answered the same questions countless times.
Count star Mount Pleasant (Texas) wide receiver Kd Cannon in that group at this point in the process.
Favorites? Nope. Schools standing out? Nope. Planned summer visits to schools? Nope, needs to talk with the parents. Any schools set to receive official visits? Nope.
Polite -- "Yes sir, no sir." -- but perfunctory. Economical.
There is a timetable for his decision -- some time after his senior season -- and there's plenty of speculation that the Baylor Bears are the team to beat for him.
"I'm just real close to the coaches since I've been there a whole bunch of times, so we've kind of built a relationship," he said in one of his more verbose statements during the short interview with SB Nation Recruiting on Friday.
