When I see posters using this word, I think they have more experience in life than this Warhorse Gator, especially if they speak from experience.
Of course Urban did not cause this sordid situation with AH. But anyone must question how AH not only avoided having his eligibility sacrificed by conduct (if there was misconduct), except for the sham boot injury when he tested positive, so as to be in the asserted Urban's Circle of Truth mentioned by a former Gator player.
This stuff is getting ridiculous... How many Hernandez and Meyer threads does everyone need to make...
Unless I sleep posted at some point, you won't find any posts from me asking for leniency from Champ on AM or excusing his actions in any way should they be accurate. Heck if he booted him to send a message to the team I would support him, just as I did on JJ (not that I expect that to happen).
I have said the same thing for years here, winning comes behind the school's overall reputation for me and always has. I don't think Meyer was evil, but the results I posted above speak for themselves, it wasn't an accident, even if Meyer was well meaning in his actions and how he dealt with kids. I just don't think he knew how to deal with the backgrounds of kids like the ones he encountered when he got here. Utah would have been another world, even Ohio wasn't really comparable. And by 2009/2010 he was burned out enough that things got exponentially worse.
But I have made my point, I will depart now.
Didn't Meyer study psychology at the university of Cincinnati? Things that make you go hmm.
There were an a lot of arrests on his watch.
Agreed! If Meyer had taken serious action against Hernandez, he might not be getting ready to spend the rest of his life in prison now/
Has Morrison tested dirty for drugs multiple times?
There were a lot on Zook's watch, and on Spurriers. There will be a lot on Muschamp's watch, too.
Boys, aged 17-22, can be counted on for just one thing when assembled en masse: getting in trouble.
Urban actually did a solid with Hernandez bringing him into his family but ultimately Hernandez chose to engage with nefarious characters.
There were quite a few more on Meyer's watch than Spurrier or Muschamp.
He's responsible for arming fools with ammunition to blame him for being responsible for things he's not responsible for. Whew!
Lets deal with reality here. If the cupboard went bare it was because the NFL emptied the cupboard, not because Meyer failed to stock it.
Yes, they are. Its not tongue in cheek--its head in ars.
Or he might have gone to prison a lot sooner. No one knows.
Many for open container violations. The horror! Hang Urbs now.
If our admissions dept had taken remedial action against the class of '84 we might not be getting ready to slash out throats listening to this nonsense.
Quite a few more National Championships too. SOS once told me personally, before he'd won anything, there was a tradeoff between player behavior issues and victories. Sad but true. Its not a Gator thing or an Urban Meyer thing, its a real world thing. Like dating hot babes and getting hurt. The risk simply goes with the territory. Blame winning if you have to blame someone/something.
You sure about that?
