    I'd be very surprised if Allen and Stone aren't starting as well. Only spot I think is really up for grabs is PG (or that second guard spot if you think Allen can handle some PG).

    True in the sense of being a 3-guard team. Had he left, I think we would have gone back to the traditional 2-guard line-up with Allen possible elevating his game as we all thought it should have been last year. A lot of posts throughout the year discussed Allen taking a step back in the presence of Hudson on the court.
    We'll certainly be a smaller team with Hudson back.

    I don't necessarily think that will be true. We'll have additional front court depth this year that we didn't have last year. So we'll be able to throw a lot of different lineup out there depending on matchups.

    I agree. Hudson is a key element to this team and his returning is big for next season.

    I had a feeling he would be back based off some of the mock drafts I had seen but this is just great to hear.

    We will miss Cheese, but this team should be a good one.

    GC hard at work getting some interviews? ...of Hudson? Coach White?
    @akaGatorhoops @Efawcett7 ??

    What sort of line up and depth chart does Coach White envision?

    It's a good day to be a Gator hoops fan. Now we have enough offensive firepower to make another deep postseason run and our young guys like Johnson/Ballard can go against the SEC's best in practice. This will likely be White's most talented group he's ever coached. Hard to redshirt anyone as they can all play at a high level. I anticipate the practices will have much more competitiveness to them.

    Have to admit I did not expect him to come back, but I'm psyched!
    It's almost like getting a top 20 pick, who already knows the system.

    Game changing for the Gator hoops team next year!

    Wow, that is fantastic! This is bigger than any recruiting coup IMO.

    He wasn't a lock to get drafted, but as he's spent 4 years in school I figured at least 50% he was gone even if just for the D-League or Europe. Seems like that is the thinking of alot of kids these days with even less draft prospects. So glad he isn't a one and done for us, even though he certainly already put in his time in college. Hopefully he has a monster year, I root extra hard for any kid that comes back as a sr or 5th year player like this. It's all about consistency, on same days he looked like a high lottery pick this year - just gotta have a lower floor where he doesn't have those duds sprinkled in.

    I don't wanna be a negative nellie, but as Hudson is a lock for huge minutes and huge usage, obviously someone else isn't going to be happy with their PT.

    Yeah, I really had low expectations next year. Thinking we would be breaking in a ton of freshmen in the back-court, most likely freshmen at PG, and not a great front-court.

    I don't think Hudson quite makes us a contender or anything as we still have question marks at PG and up front, but I do think his athletic ability and scoring makes such a massive difference we should be a sweet 16 type team that could make things interesting at times. Basically similar to this past year's team in potential. We should be able to run with anyone at least.

    That pretty much tells the whole story. Hudson was so NBA not-ready, he didn't even make headlines by coming back. Should never have declared in the first place.Make your mark, young man.
