If they watch film I have to believe they know they can't march up and down the field with our D. I think they go for the big gainer a lot and hope that hit one or two. I also think they may try fast pace to see if they can wear out our D, or confuse us. They are going to have to hit on big plays to win.

I honestly wonder if Tennessee was holding back against Oregon because they barely attempted a pass beyond 7 yards and they kept swinging out to Neal. It seemed like they only ran a few plays from their playbook.

Kind of like Miami did??? Except we need to put points on the board in the redzone.

gator34654 how do you think they will go for the big gainer? What kind of plays do you think they will call and is this different from their normal offensive plays?

UT doesn't have much choice. The QB competition was re-opened this week. Anyone they have as a starter is not a superstar. They have a good O-line so I expect they will try to establish the run mixed in with a lot of quick passes. We need our defense to establish the tone of the game early. Stuff UT, force a few turnovers and maybe score a TD on a INT return. Give our offense a little time to get things going. If we play tough defense, our offense WILL score a bunch of points!

We will look to establish the punting game early. Our three and out offense will slowly wear your guys down from having to run on and off the field so much.

Their best strategy is to try to pick up first downs 3-4 yds at a time and run the playclock down as far as they can on every play to shorten the game and limit the number of plays. Coupled with our strategy not being much different, they need to hope for a few turnovers and mistakes from us that will keep them in the game in the 4th to hopefully steal.

That's really their only chance in this game.

two starting wr's are 6'5" and 6'4", good start if you want to throw an FSU hail mary.

Yes they were probably holding back bc getting pasted on the road by a top 5 team alway makes your program look good and instills confidence in the players.

With the notable exception of 2000 when Travis Henry ran wild and you still beat us on Jabar Gaffney's last minute TD *ahem* catch, I think the team with the most rushing yards has won going back to 1990.
