I can't believe, no matter the rivalry, that anyone would be dumb enough to not root for the SEC if your team is also SEC?!? The strength of a conference is HUGE! I want championship after championship for the SEC! Why?...because it can help your own team down the line! SEC is the only conference in the nation right now (due to 7 championships in a row) that is GUARANTEED the BCS title game as a 1 loss team if only one team undefeated. Big 10, Big 12, Pac 12, Big East, ACC...nope with 1 loss! Due to the success of our conference! What if UF were in AU's shoes right now, and the SEC had been mediocre for years?...UF wouldn't being going, it would be a 1 loss from another conference.

Just as loud as I could. And I doubt that anyone on here hates Bama any more than I do. I believe we all benefit greatly when the whole world looks at the SEC as being third best conference in football - right behind the AFC and NFC.

Agree and disagree. Strongly in both cases. I agree strongly that Auburn is detestable, but not as bad as fsu. I strongly disagree that "this whole conference loyalty thing is very overblown." Couldn't disagree more. In fact, I think it is UNDERblown, if that is a word. The rest of the country is either two stupid or too apathetic to have figured out the benefits that the SEC is deriving from everyone conceding that it is the best cfb conference. We all (all 14 of us) get more publicity, more exposure, more money, more respect, more of everything good, including the hatred of all those other losers around the country, because everyone believes that we are the best.

Let all the weak conferences puff out their chests and pull against their rivals and put down the SEC for us all (most all of us) for pulling for each other in OOC games. They can suck a lemon as they watch us win, and win and win - and they have to watch us, because everybody is showing us, because we are the ones everyone wants to watch.

I cheer for the SEC against other conferences as a respect to the gauntlet that an SEC team has to run during Conference play to get to this point, while FSU plays in a crap conference with out any what I call true hate your guts rivalries.

You got that right. I was saying Hook Em as loudly as I was in January 2006.

    There's two things I can't stand:

    1. SEC fans who won't cheer for SEC teams.
    2. The f***ing rammer jammers.

I always root for the SEC out of conference as long as it does not hurt UF. Think of all the haters from all the other conferences around the country that detest the SEC. That, my Gator brethren and sisters, is who you are rooting against! You do not have to be a Awbarn fan to root for them in this game.

I wanted to love this but the video must have been made by an Auburn fan and not a graduate (or at least a competent one). I have to believe that after the shock wears off (the only thing I can come up with in a similar ilk for us would be the 2001 season and Tenn) that once the game begins there will be a lot of cheering for the SEC, maybe even loud ones to drown out the cheers for Auburn.

What if they were playing F.S.U.?

You'd pull for F.S.U. while the game was on?

Be proud of the SEC for the last 7 yrs! There are multiple 1 loss teams out there...but is anyone even questioning they should go over Auburn?...No, because of what the SEC, as a conference, built! If you remember 2006...it was no guarantee the 1 loss SEC team was in!

I would never pull for UGA in the BCS title game, unless it was against F$U or scUM.

It is a very big deal to me as a gator and overall college football fan.

    1. Despise noles and everything about them (given)
    2. The ACC has earned their rep as bottom dwelling conf and I don't want that to change
    3. Auburn is not near the top of my list of disliked conf foes (UGA, Bama, LSU,UT all above them)
    4. SEC is undisputed king of college football. I don't even have to argue about it anymore and don't want to start.
    5. The whole rape thing and the way it was handled by everyone in tallycrappy.
    6. I can support a team wearing orange and blue.
    7. Auburn is close to UGA and one of their big rivals.
    8. Bama fans are going to have a collective aneurysm.
    9. Dumbo fisher
    And more...

    I forgot to add

    10. That insipid, moronic war chant

I can respect uga for the fact they play football in a football conference. The same can not be said for fsu.

Somebody needs to correct the autocorrect function here. It capitalized fsu automatically and left uga lower caps. :)

No chance in Hell. Swap "Auburn" with "Georgia" and let's see how many longtime Gators would root for the freaking leghumpers...

In a heartbeat. I'm a 1980s Gator and remember 1980 too well. Been to too many Cocktail parties getting woofed at by Dawg fans. As an older Gator, I remember the "love" the SEC gave to us in 1984, and how the rest of the conference didn't consider Florida to be "southern" enough for the SEC. How any Gator can be an SEC honk is beyond me...

I have no love for the SEC or Auburn, but after Georgia and Miami, I love to see FSU lose every damned game. Go War Chickens!!

I fear that this is the year the SEC's hammerlock on the title is broken.
