I have never been up there before and wondering if I need to go ahead and buy in advance. Supposedly they are tough on scalpers in the Commonwealth but surely there will be extras that people try to sell on the street (below face). Anyone know?

This isn't basketball season, so you can probably find tickets laying around on the ground. If you're lucky, there might be a UK fan that will pay you to take their tickets off their handds.

It's beyond easy. Not counting 2007 ( when gameday was there) you've always been able to get them very cheap or just walk right up to the box and purchase them.

One person found one worth more than 400 Million in Lexington...SC. Only cost them 2 bucks.

If you're going to go out of your way to go to Lexington for a UF/KY game, why would you want to sit in the end zone? (unless you're with a group, or the Gator Boosters seating or something).

You could get tickets around midfield for a lot less than $100.

I've always seen tickets for sale. The one time I had an extra one I got less than face value. Remember, no UK student was alive the last time they beat Florida.

Keep in mind that Lexington and overall size of UK = a lot of people get tickets as part of the university, football stinks but they have sports fans....they my go to a couple games or only "go" when uk is good....supply demand again....uk season ticket base is prolly over 40 thousand. What I'm saying is this is an easy easy ticket. No way would I spend 100 bucks on secondary market. 15-20 minutes before game time during the big rush tickets will be everywhere. I doubt it's a sellout but even if it is I would wait. I've only been there once, many years ago and I don't even remember what I paid...tickets in general are becoming a joke...this week against UT I predict the same....lots of supply and less demand....just my op!

Tickets have been pretty easy to come by the last three times we have played there. Really like to go tailgate and I have paid far more for a parking pass in the lot next to the stadium than I have for tickets!

If you get there early enough, Kentucky's AD will let you coach the team.

Tideh8tr, if you live or are near Huntsville, come to Wintzell's on Sat and there are several members of the Rocket City Gator club that have tickets for sale in the Gator section at face value. We have about 60 folks going.

Good info. I'm going to the game and was close to buying from the UAA, but the seats suck. I plan to sit in the UK section, best seats I can find....then tell all of them their new coach is a bum and that we're going to kick their ass in basketball too!!

I imagine it will be harder finding a UK fan than a ticket...
