How good is MSU? Can they beat OSU?
Mizzu or SC could beat AU.....
If Miami can win the ACC basketball Champ could Duke win it in Football.....A lot of things to consider.

MSU is a solid defensive team, but their offensively challenged. OSU should win in a walk.

In MNC games, yes, but they beat Arkansas in the 2011 Sugar Bowl.

OSU is still technically winless per the record books. That bowl win was vacated. :)

It would only be "great" if that 1-loss team were the Florida Gators. Other than that, who cares?

Or unless you actually, I don't know, look at how the schedules actually rank. From Sagarin before this weekend:

    Auburn 38th
    OSU 67th
    FSU 76th

Of course Auburn's will increase even more over the other 2 after this weekend and next weekend.

Of course Auburn's SOS would be greater but the 1 loss is going to leave them out. However, OSU's is better than FSU's and will get better next week.

It should be interesting because OSU's defense is as bad as MSU's offense. MSU just never wins games like this though. Sparty fans always wait for them to implode at some point.

Per NCAA's SOS calculator through last week:

    Auburn 37
    FSU 68
    OSU 84

They use the most basic formula. Opponents' W-L record (cumulative). Once this weekend's opponents records are added, AU will move up, OSU and FSU down.

The acceptable end to this horrible season would be Auburn leapfrogging OSU, beating FSU, and Bama crushing OSU in some other bowl game.
